Our incredible Team SHOH took on the 2026 Great North Run, with 25 runners representing Selby Hands of Hope from Newcastle all the way to the finish at South Shields.
Together, they have raised an amazing £9,061.67 — making this our highest fundraising Great North Run to date.

On the 11th Day of Christmas my @ParklandsLeeds gave to me … The Yorkshire Tenor and KS1 Nativity. We are so honoured and blessed to welcome back @JacobWalsh to school to sing to the children. He is headlining at York Minster on Sat with the Military Choir supporting him.

Hello SELBY! Very proud to announce that, from today, we’re serving the community of Selby on our brand new 90.0 FM frequency.
Our new transmitter will improve reception for those of you travelling on the A19, or if you live in and around Deighton, Escrick and Barlby!

Do you remember the clarity of
- stay at home, protect the NHS, save lives
Now after today's latest announcements in England we seem to have
- eat out to help out
- don't socialise
- stop working at home, get back to the office
Not exactly clear cut.
