Excited to get this work preprinted! We provide a method for federated learning inference of hierarchical models. The approach doesn't require communicating gradient information of private parameters, and we also offer a communication-efficient variant!

An ACEMS team of researchers from @qut, @UNSW & @MonashUni introduce a new method which significantly improves the computational efficiency of #Bayesian synthetic likelihood (BSL). The research was led by @JacobPriddle: acems.org.au/projects/effici… @tandfonline
