The ASA has officially launched the Sonographer Awareness Campaign across Australia and New Zealand. This national campaign shines a light on the essential role sonographers play in healthcare and raises public recognition of our profession. Too often seen as “just image-takers,” sonographers are in fact highly trained medical professionals whose work supports patients, saves lives and strengthens our health system. Sonographers make a difference every day.
