Esa gente en Venezuela que no quiere dejar demoler TODO eso que se cayó porque aún no encuentran los cuerpos muertos putrefactos de los familiares ¿Esa gente que? I completely understand why Marvel picked Inde Navarrette as Rogue over Cailee Spaeny. The answer is OBSESSION. And the people getting mad over it have entirely lost the plot Before OBSESSION Inde was primarily known for SUPERMAN & LOIS. Then this $750,000 horror movie became a nearly $500 million monster and Nikki fucking exploded. Memes, fan art, interviews, premieres, Halloween Horror Nights. OBSESSION had an entire cast, but Inde is the one everybody walked away talking about. Cailee Spaeny is a damn good actress with a great career. She's fine. But right now, Inde has the one thing Hollywood desperately wants: heat. Marvel needs the X-Men to feel like THE next big thing, and Kevin Feige would be insane not to capitalize on this moment. Inde is young, talented, recognizable, and coming off the kind of breakout studios spend millions trying to manufacture. You don't wait for that momentum to cool. You cast her as Rogue, lock her in for the next decade, and ride it. Cailee will be fine. Hell, give her Kitty Pryde. But Rogue? Inde Navarrette makes all the sense in the world.
