Consistent inactivity was the third most important risk factor for COVID-19 death, behind only age older than 60 years and previous organ transplant. It was more important than even smoking, obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease... cidrap.umn.edu/news-perspectβ¦

News: The French are rioting over high cost of living and under-resourced high schools.
The rioters: Yes, that's what we are rioting over.
The French government: Yupp, they're rioting over that.
Everyone: Yepp, that's whats happening.
The far right: Da Blacks! Da Muzlims!
Explosive story many years in the making, now out in Vanity Fair by Matthew Cole (who will be on Breaking Points next week, and publishing soon in @DropSiteNews):
Saudi Arabia and the UAE set up multi-billion slush funds for Jared Kushner to use.
Iran-Contra 2 here (except with Iran-Contra, at least the US got some hostages released. Not clear what we got out of this one.)
Aside from the shocking substance of this story, what's amazing is how it was unearthed by Cole. The short version: The Russians were able to penetrate Jared Kushner's iPhone and extract screenshots and data. Then, a Russian intel official was captured by Dutch intelligence (!) and flipped. The Dutch believed Kushner may have been acting on behalf of Russia, so pursued him as an intel target and were able to get into his phone.
They did not find any evidence of Russian collusion, instead they watched him moving hundreds of millions of dollars from slush funds created by Saudi Arabia and the UAE, one of them housed in Israel's central bank.
Incredible reporting, and if Democrats have any sense, they will pull on these threads and learn a lot more about this money.

Public investment leads to private sector investment.
The basis of our prosperity begins with a strong private sector economy. Since 2019, B.C. private sector jobs grew 3.3%. Public sector jobs grew 46.4%.

BC has had a relatively small public service historically.
In a poll done in April 2025 using a representative national sample, 76% of Canadians support the federal governmentβs decision to ban foreigners from purchasing residential properties in Canada, while 13% oppose it and 11% are undecided.

Absolutely horrific racism from this Conservative candidate.
Attacking the Pakistani community as "a sh*thole," joking about killing protestors, celebrating white supremacist figures.
There's only one way for Lorne Doerkson to respond: fire this candidate immediately.

Replying to @BindaCarson
You are too young & inexperienced to remember the War in the Woods era. Led to a decade+ of conflict & hard feelings. Shut the Industry down. The BCCP wants to learn all of those hard lessons again? In BC? Repealing DRIPA without First Nation's support, is disqualifying.

We're going to work with FNs but first we need to repeal the rights guaranteed them by the charter, provincial, federal and international law.
BC Conservatives will repeal DRIPA.
Weβll work with First Nations to build projects, create jobs and expand economic opportunity through trust, partnership and shared prosperity.
Letβs build a stronger B.C. together.

Petey got 2 years of being mis-utilised and publicly shit on by Tocchet, Foote and Rutherford. And the now that he's under a coaching and management regime that's done nothing but publicly support him and pick him up he's looking more like "the guy"

UPDATE: a second Palestinian has been murdered in the West Bank today during the olive harvest
It's only the afternoon local time and in the West Bank, there are at least two dozen Palestinians injured and one Palestinian, 44-year-old Ali Bazari was killed.
Today's attacks are specifically called for by Israelis in light of October 7th.
Out of the Palestinians killed in the West Bank in the last ten months, nearly 35% were killed by armed Israelis while 65% were killed by the Israeli army. They're both working in coordinated efforts not just to kill and injure, but to also create hostile environments in the West Bank to further push Palestinians out.
