Just returned from #Israel. Needed some Vitamin D. Earlier this week I climbed up Mount Precipice near Nazareth, and saw this. Canadian friends, these pics of the Jezreel Valley are for you. @IsraelinToronto @JNFca @CityWindsorON #JewishWindsor 🇨🇦🇮🇱

#TuBShvat AKA "New Year of the Trees", is marked this week, and is all about celebrating #nature & planting trees 🌳🌳🌳 With Tu B'Shvat on the calendar, it’s no surprise that 🇮🇱 entered the 21st century with a net gain in trees, which are essential for our life on 🌎!

Holocaust Remembrance Day and the 75th Anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau serve as a reminder of the horrific evils conquered by the Jewish people. May we continue fighting anti-Semitism in all its forms #WeRemember #NeverAgain

Antisemitism & hate have no place anywhere in our world and we must continue to stand together against them. Last night’s attack on Jews celebrating Hanukkah in New York is a sad reminder of the rising numbers of such heinous acts. We must all come together to end them.

Brought to tears tonight watching 45 Holocaust survivors dance the hora and share their stories with over 300 young adults at the 15th annual Dinner of Miracles. Truly a miracle!!! #yorkcentre

13/ It will still take many years for that part of the country to fully recover, but with the help of the @JNFca @JNFUSA and other environmental organizations, Israel is on the path to recovery. A special thanks to all those countries who offered their assistance in times of need

As Chair of @Friendsisrael, I am disappointed the government of Canada has chosen to support an anti-Israel motion at the UN led by the dictatorship of North Korea. This, combined with the decision to re-start funding for UNWRA, is a betrayal of a democratic friend and ally.

This is encouraging progress towards peace in the Middle East. The annual anti-Israel motions at the UN are stunts that work against progress. Serious dialogue is the answer and Canada should support & even offer to host this initiative. nyti.ms/37sGLHw

Thank you KKL-JNF and the entire Canadian delegation for an incredible week in Jerusalem and the Hula Valley. Laureen and I are deeply honoured and will treasure this special memory. We hope all of you get to experience the beauty of Hula Lake Park and enjoy it as much as we do.
