1974 was the year the Rubik’s Cube was invented, the Rumble in the Jungle took place and also the last time the Democratic Republic of Congo were at the World Cup. Now, as they prepare to face Portugal, they are hoping to shake off the ghost of that disastrous campaign.

Elon and the French right-wing crowd love this “woke = equality of outcomes” strawman because it lets them pretend any attempt to fix centuries of exclusion is tyranny... Liberty, equality, fraternity meant nothing when France was COLONISING half of Africa and denying basic rights to millions based on skin colour. “Equality before the law” is meaningless if the law was written by and for the same people who built wealth on slavery, segregation & stolen land. DEI and affirmative action aren’t “infantilising” anyone... they’re correcting the starting line that was deliberately rigged for 400 years. The real infantilisation is pretending systemic racism ended the day the laws changed while the wealth, networks & opportunities stayed in the same hands. That’s not republicanism but only DENIAL dressed up as philosophy.

🇷🇼 Rwanda must be held fully accountable to the terms it and the DRC signed in Washington last week. Those commitments are not optional, and the United States expects them to be enforced. Global leaders must stand with the U.S. in condemning Rwanda’s actions without reservation.

I'm pleased to announce that my new book entitled, Rwanda's 30-Year Assault on Congo: the Crimes, the Criminals and the Cover-Up, will be published on March 1st, 2026. Readers can now pre-order a copy. The book is an evidentiary essay that examines how the United States conducted regime change in 1996-97 to oust Congo's dictator Mobutu Sese Seko, thereby enabling three decades of crimes against the Congolese people. It also explores Rwanda's military tactics of infiltration and subjugation in Congo, and how international courts have guaranteed Paul Kagame's impunity. On the day he arrived in the #DRC, we informed our point of contact in the DRC that Congressman @RepRonnyJackson was not sent there by President @realDonaldTrump, nor was he part of an official delegation of the United States Congress. Nevertheless, the media began publishing incorrect statements about the Congressman, causing confusion in the DRC. We once again urge the media not to run stories based on a single source and to confirm all information through official sources and authorized representatives. Members of Congress may visit foreign countries on their own accord and will be welcomed in the spirit of friendship extended to all members of Congress. Congressman Jackson's opinions are his own and do not reflect the official view of the Trump Administration or Congress. We will be engaging with the Congressman's office to address his concerns

Dear @johnlegend, be a legend and don’t perform in Kigali this February 21, 2025! Our sister @temsbaby stood with the Congolese women and men who are being killed by the Rwandan Defense Forces. There is a genocide in Congo! Don’t be remember as the artist who supported oppressive regimes and whitewashed the crimes of Rwandan President @PaulKagame. Stand for peace and justice! #FreeCongo
