Check out the timelapse of how fast coastal flooding poured into Sea Bright, New Jersey in roughly 20 minutes this morning. Sea Bright Fire Rescue says they helped more than 90 people from flooded homes and cars this weekend. #NJwx #noweaster

Devastating scenes across Ship Bottom, New Jersey this afternoon as residents are forced to evacuate on foot, with many roads completely impassable. Water is already knee deep in some areas as major coastal flooding continues to worsen. @WxWiseApp Contact @SevereStudios for video licensing

After an absolute GRIND, @AaronRigsbyOSC and I are on our way home. Being able to pull the trigger and just NARROWLY miss the eye of Super Typhoon Bavi as an upper echelon Category 5 is an experience I’ll never forget. From logistics most people can’t even begin to fathom, to constantly being on the move, it’s safe to say I couldn’t have a better storm chasing partner and best friend to do it with. We will be headed home for a much needed break and reset. See you all on the next one 🌀🌴 #Wxtwitter #typhoon #bavi

One of many gut wrenching stories from #Rota after Super Typhoon #Bavi decimated the area at Category 5 intensity. Jeannette Rimen shares her story of survival. While she was working at the hospital to keep everyone safe. Her home was being completely destroyed and is now homeless on the island. @JordanHallWX

FIRST drone images of Rota after the devastating impact of Super Typhoon Bavi. No, this isn’t Guam, this is the small island to the north. Most people don’t know this place even exists and they could really use your help. @AaronRigsbyOSC @NWSGuam #wxtwitter #typhoon #bavi #marianasislands

We are on the first media plane into Rota thanks to the massive help from Tina (beside me) who works for the airline and reached out to us about getting on the plane for coverage. We will be providing the first aerial images and stories from Rota once we get back. @JordanHallWX

Crazy to think 24 hours ago it was raging winds from Super Typhoon Bavi. Today it is back to your typical tropical paradise. The island of Saipan truly dodged a bullet with Bavi, but our thoughts are for those on Rota. #Saipan #Bavi #Typhoon – at Northern Mariana Islands

Praying for Saipan and the Marianas! Thank you @JordanHallWX and @AaronRigsbyOSC for capturing this!
Tank Beach in Saipan is typically known for its pristine sands, vibrant waters, and peaceful atmosphere. Today, however, it is the complete opposite: 20-foot waves are battering the coastline and are expected to intensify as Super Typhoon Bavi nears the island. I had the chance to speak with Glenn Policare, a local resident since 1993, who noted that preparations for this storm have been incredibly significant. It is clear that no one is letting their guard down after the island was hit by Super Typhoon Sinlaku back in April. Stay safe, everyone. @AaronRigsbyOSC #supertyphoon #bavi #saipan

The eye of Super Typhoon Bavi has grown significantly, and the expected northern jog has begun. Any further wobbles to the north or west will have major implications for a direct landfall on Rota, Tinian, or Saipan. Even if you are not directly in the path of the eye, the eyewall will bring devastating winds. #Bavi #Supertyphoon #Saipan

Sappy post alert! But man, I tell ya. On this massive, spontaneous adventures across the world I can't help but to get sentimental about stuff. I am once again, on a random island I know very little about surrounding by just the most incredible people in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. We've been making friends, meeting new faces, and word has quickly spread that two storm chasers are on the island and similar to the Batanas, so many people are greeting us with hellos, offering to help us in anyway that they can despite still recovering from a direct hit by a typhoon earlier in April. This morning, Glen took us around the island and showed a spot where absolutely nuclear waves were smashing into the coastline that doesn't normally see huge waves before he went into work. He was at our hotel at 5am super excited to hangout and show us around and observe the waves for himself before returning to our hotel and getting to hangout with a gentleman named "Bob". Bob was kind enough to bring us to his house, show us around his dream retirement home he created (with the strongest tiki bar in the Pacific) and introduce us to his wonderful wife before allowing us to interview him about living in Saipan and dealing with all of the recent storms. Meanwhile, I look out my balcony to the bluest of blue waters with a Sherman tank from the battle of Saipan in World War 2 just chilling in the ocean surrounded by so much beauty and happiness despite the devastation already left behind. I could have never imagined in my life, coming from a nobody living in a corn field town to one day traveling the world on a limb like this and just become immersed in so many different lifestyles across the globe. Its something I will never ever take for granted. If I wasn't the free spirited nomad I am today. I'm not sure I'd even see a fraction of the world that I have today. With that being said, I am still staring down the barrel of a Category 5 Super Typhoon. Time to enjoy my last hours of peace before the chaos unfolds. @JordanHallWX
