I think it would have been far more patriotic if the far-left running Maryland did not blow through a $5.5 billion surplus and leave us with a $3 billion deficit in just 2 years.

I was a soldier & then a civil servant for the Army and then @NASA adding up to 35 years federal employment before I retired to write full time. During those years, I think I was fortunate to work for & with some amazingly hard workers who put in countless extra hours to see the work accomplished for the military and space programs. Glad the Phils didn’t get him. Soto is a great player, but he’s only one person. Phillies beat the Padres in 2022 when Soto was on that team. Padres did not even get to the playoffs in 2023 with Soto. Yanks didn’t win the World Series last year with Soto. The Phils will be fine.
