Yet again @Hertz , book gold in the us for the UK and nope, not the n the board and need to queue up to get help. Status means nothing when it’s a booking in one country for a car in another. Every. Single. Time.
The @AmericanExpress lounge access via priority pass or platinum is absolutely useless at busy airports like @HeathrowAirport where maybe they will deign to let you in if there’s room to Centurion and @prioritypasscom lounges are over capacity. What a waste of a ‘benefit’
Thanks again @Hertz . Yet again reservations and gold status at LHR mean nothing. Lost in translation between the us and the UK? This is getting repetitive and tiresome. I’m questioning my loyalty.
Again I cannot say enough about @united reps. I made an emergency booking the other day and the rep was awesome - and them some additional issues came up and someone was able to sort me out (twice!) Once because their system was being wonky and once because *I* was being wonky.
The @united rep who helped me arrange a bunch of flights and change other flights due to a family emergency was absolutely AMAZING. Thank you.
We love our @BergenMakers interns. Need a sign for a school vehicle! These two have it covered and learned a lot of new techniques and skills along the way. Great use of our @glowforge !

Morning on the water in our home built cedar strip canoe.

Today @BergenMakers campers turned the tables on the staff and challenged us to a design challenge. We brought out the index cards and the towers began to rise. Who would build the tallest? Would it support the duck? We won but it was close!

While we averaged 2 miles an hour on the reservoir today, we did get to 3.4 so faster than a narrowboat on tick over…
Successful week @BergenMakers camp. Kids were: designers, coders, pilots, architects, problem solvers, creative thinkers, aeronautical engineers, and builders. Along the way they learned about teamwork. Looking forward to welcoming the next group of campers on Monday!

campers will continue their block coding journey flying @DJIGlobal #tello drones through a series of challenges. They'll also become architects constructing an index card tower that can support a stuffed animal. Great way to end the week.
