I absolutely love seeing the red deer start to come down from the hills at this time of year. Small groups like this are appearing in the fields now and, every so often, they even wander into the garden. 🦌 I don’t think I’ll ever get bored of seeing them. 😍

A year ago today I published my first novella, Off the Record. 📖 I genuinely had no idea if anyone would buy it, enjoy it, or just unfollow me when they realised what I’d actually written. 😂 Instead, it became a number one international Amazon bestseller. That still feels slightly ridiculous to type. I know it’s not for everyone. It’s a strong story about relationships between men, and there's a few fairly graphic naughty scenes along the way. So if that’s not your cup of tea, I completely get it. 🫣 But if you bought it, read it, reviewed it, or just shared a post about it, YOU helped give me the confidence to believe I could actually write a book. Exactly one year later, it’s sold over 11,000 copies, and I'm halfway through writing the sequel, my first novel, to be published in early 2027. So thank you. Seriously. ❤️ Also, a cheap plug...
