Lowlights from Pozzo - ‘We are debt free’ - no the club owes you 60m plus accrued interest ‘The club is in a great financial position’ - an outright lie ‘We have been able to assemble a very exciting team’ ‘We gave the coach 6 more starters. Poor management of resources’ ‘We have gone a long way from the gentleman with the red hat’ ‘Social media spreads out lies’ All blame on coach and players none on the recruitment itself. The only coach of the TWENTY FOUR he has hired who was coveted by another club was Marco Silva and Everton paid £6m compensation for him. Pozzo said that him sacking coaches has cost HIM a lot of money. NO - it has cost the club. NOT ONE PENNY OF DEBT HAS BEEN WRITTEN OFF. Not even a hint of apology over anything. No apology for Bayat - in fact a doubling down of support for him, for sacking Cleverley, for appointing Ed Still. In his mind he has done absolutely nothing wrong at any time ever. Blames the Supporters Board for not transmitting things as he wants. No charm whatsoever. Just belligerence. He needs to be utterly humiliated publicly game after game after game.
