Can tell from the reaction to that second goal what the players think of Dionisi. They’re behind him, let’s see if the owner is. Good win, up the Orns, Pozzo out. 🐝
A deserved W to start the weekend 👏🐝

Great ball from Vata and very tidy finish. Deserved that, second half could have been 2-3 more.
JZ to round things off! 🤩

Calf injury for Bravo. A little surprised he played 85 after Dionisi’s comments. Hopefully minor.

Kayembe started that off with a right footed shot. RIGHT footed.
Luca gives us the lead! 👊

Bravo, Boadu, Bola, Diatta all improvements. We’re not down by 4, so that’s an improvement. Shape is better, but we’ve looked nervous and uncoordinated in the final third. Even if you maintain the shape, get Mammaa or Nabizada on the pitch.
Encouraging first half but it remains goalless at the break.

Additional eye gouge this time.
The drag back > burst forward is something we're going to see a lot of from Coulibaly.

I just listened to the pod on a long drive. I don’t know where to start. That was actually worse than I expected from Gino. Patronising, gaslighting, delusional. Basically said “Not my fault, just lost in communication. You guys should have asked sooner.” There’s a lot to discuss here, we’ll be covering it on the @WatfordPod. Of course.
Gino: - Squad is great - Comms are great - Supporters board need to do more - Dionisi at fault for recent results - Financially great - We’re on a great trajectory for next 5 years - If the results aren’t good it’s entirely on the HC as everything around him is perfect

Manchester United not the only club where the problem's lie deeper than the head coach.
Seven defeats in Watford’s last nine matches have piled pressure on Alessio Dionisi, but the club’s problems run far deeper that their head coach: 🔻 £14m wage bill one of Championship’s lowest 💸 Unwilling to pay players more than £10,000 a week ❌ Not a penny paid on summer signings 🗣️ Fans revolting against trigger-happy owner @JPercyTelegraph looks into the disquiet at Vicarage Road ⬇️ telegraph.co.uk/football/202…

I do agree with this. My fear is that we’ve not seen this side play behind the chains, not in this scenario. Yes chasing play offs (and how has that gone?), but in a survival situation it’s a concern. I hope I’m wrong, but we looked devoid of any sense of resilience tonight.
Replying to @JordanWiemer
The base of the team is actually still good enough to stay up but the off the pitch stuff has caused this. (Base of team includes a fully functioning Bove)

I’m sure a lot will disagree with me on this. But sacking Dionisi may seal our fate.
After the 5-1 defeat at Cardiff how much are the problems off the pitch affecting the #WatfordFC players and head coach? Does Dionisi think he will be in charge on Saturday? 📹 with @GeoffDoyle1

One of them is Edo Kayembe.
Over half this squad will be off next year as it stands. Whether that's an asset that is due to be sold (Maamma), Loan, End of contract, or in the Pozzo network with an easy exit. What are they fighting for?
