Sometimes I find myself annoyed by games. Then I remember we were awful last year and only saved by the whole pacific struggling under Olympic Schedule. Had we not made the playoffs we were a lottery team. And we are still a lottery team now. At the very least we tank well.

If LA wins today im not too torn up about them likely losing to the Sens. Thats kinda the thing about mediocre teams. You have to take points where you can get them. For contenders, games are either easy or, occasionally, trap games. None of this "acceptable loss" crap.

It is at this point that LA needs to start icing the kids immediately. I couldn't care less about average age, But if were going to suck regardless let's get an accurate assessment of the new gen, not just "They do fine in the AHL."
