Reasoning in public forces discipline of thought. It’s like doing math on the chalkboard in front of the class. Every step must be clear and correct, or someone will point out the mistake. There’s no room for fuzzy thinking or skipped steps. If your reasoning is correct, you have nothing to fear. If it’s wrong, you have everything to learn.

A weak mind must be constantly entertained and stimulated. A strong mind can occupy itself and, more important, be still and vigilant in moments that demand it.

Stop powering through crap. There are many books I regret powering through, none that I regret quitting. Life is too short to put up with bad writing — bad anything. If the food sucks, stop eating it. If the speaker is boring, get up and go. If the party is no fun, leave.

Just chatted to a mate with a successful agency who lost some big clients recently. The reality is that it sucks... ...and that it happens. I learned the hard way a few years ago. If you're a freelancer or agency owner, this is what helped me: Assume EVERY client WILL cancel and not continue their services. Now, I'm not saying you shouldn't do your best and overdeliver... What I'm saying is you need to PREPARE for this. Sure, it will suck, and sure it won't be nice when it happens... But WHEN it does, you'll at least be better prepared to handle it. The other thing I suggest is to always be marketing. Always grow your brand. This helps generate leads and a consistent pipeline or prospective clients. So when they leave, you have some potential clients to work with soon. Other practical things like: • Being lean in your expenses • Being wise with finances • Adjusting your offering ...also matter. But hope this general advice helps you in your freelancing / agency journey ❤️

Your offer is everything. Maybe you know how to make an insane website. Or maybe you know marketing really well. But if you don't know how to communicate that, you're limiting your growth. Here's the reality: ❌ It's not the ones with the skills who do the best. ✅ It's the ones who know how to sell their skills that do the best. I know you might be thinking, "but I hate sales." You're not alone... I do too. Even if you just stick to this: • WHO am I targeting? • WHAT am I selling? • WHY should they buy it? ...this will help provide more clarity with your offer. ❌  Examples of bad offers: • "I make websites" • "I do SEO" • "I design landing pages" ✅  Examples of good offers: • "I help dentists get more bookings from their website" • "I 3X plumber bookings from SEO" • "I 2X your course sales landing page conversions or you don't pay" Curious to know what your offer is?

❌ “I am a web developer.” ✅ “I help course creators sell more courses.” ✅ “I help nutritionists get more clients.” ✅ “I double your website bookings.” ✅ “I get more patients for dentists.” Sell the OUTCOME. Not the tool.
