A week ago I panic-bought cargo pants at the height of an anxiety spiral about the world turning into some 'Last of Us' style game where obviously I need survival pants (?), and now the anxiety has subsided can I just say these are COMFY why haven't I been wearing these FOREVER

Jacinda Ardern’s video to New Zealanders explaining what lockdown means, what to expect, and why it will help is the most honest and comforting talk on this I’ve seen. If you’re sick of the bluster and confusing messages from our own leaders try this facebook.com/jacindaardern/v…

2. When I was a child in the 1940s, my mother would cut up slices of fruit for me (there wasn't much) and as she put it in front of me she would say, "An apple a day keeps the doctor away." How about, “A sonnet a day keeps the doctor away”? So...here we go: Sonnet 1.

My 96-year-old mom tested positive for #Covid_19. She's got a cough and slight fever. Her nursing home is under quarantine; we can now only see her through her window. A request. She loves cats. Please send cute cat pics and I'll print and paste them in her window. Thanks.
