During UN High Level Week, every nation of the 🌍 has a voice.
Ireland will use ours throughout #UNGA81 to reaffirm our commitment to peace and security, sustainable development, human rights and respect for international law.
We will participate in key meetings on the situations in the Middle East, Ukraine, Sudan and Afghanistan, and we will advocate for enhanced multilateral action on issues including international development, humanitarian assistance and the global response to climate change.

Held under the @Ireland2026eu, the informal meeting of EU Foreign Ministers (Gymnich) brought together counterparts from Ukraine, Canada, Iceland, Norway, the United Kingdom and Switzerland to discuss security challenges in Ukraine.
Ministers also discussed the situation in the Middle East, including freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, support for the Gaza Peace Plan and the Two-State solution, and efforts to strengthen the Lebanese state.
