Today we would like to congratulate and thank Firefighter/Paramedic Erin Juenger for his 20 years of service to the Clayton Fire Department. Erin’s dedication to the community and positive outlook serves as a guide for those of us who are privileged to work with him.
Couldn’t agree more....
Fireground communications is often dysfunctional. Too much of the unimportant blocking out the important, and trying to talk the fire out. There are many individual issues and their causes, but really it is a systemic failure...

Strong work by the Firefighters of @FvfpdFire!
Watch the lower left part of the screen - Firefighters from @FvfpdFire in action. They are climbing out a bedroom window after helping an 88 year-old-woman safely get out of the house. The woman and her daughter were taken to the hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.@KMOV
Congrats Chief!
Congratulations to @FvfpdFire Battalion Chief Jason Hovelmann, who has been named the new Chief of the District effective March 1, 2019, replacing Scott Seppelt, who is retiring. @Florissant_Buzz @CityFlorissant
VERY common fail point. Possible causes include carrying or grabbing the SCBA by the shoulder strap on that side instead of the loop at the top, as well as the top cap of the seat harness rubbing against it....FYI. Bottom line- CHECK IT!
