At my direction, the state of Indiana is cutting the cost of debris removal for eligible Hoosiers communities impacted by August’s severe weather.
FEMA will pay 75% of costs, the state will now pay 18.75%, leaving only 6.25% for eligible communities to cover.
I want to make it clear that Hoosier communities, from our rural towns to the suburbs of our capital city, will not shoulder the recovery effort alone.
Debris removal is the next phase of this marathon, and we are with Hoosiers every step of the way.
