Bologna has become a warzone 🇮🇹 Of course the Palestinian flag is waving. All that flag brings is violence and destruction. The Free Palestine movement was always a Trojan horse for destroying the West

BREAKING: Council Member Krista Laine Uses Tax Dollars to Lie About the Outside Audit and Campaign Against the Outside Audit Through Official Franking - - - Austin Council Member Krista Laine could be in some very hot water. Today she sent out an official email newsletter, prepared by taxpayer-funded city staff, on a platform, in an office, and with internet paid for by taxpayers, to dishonestly campaign against the Outside Audit. » Read the email she sent out here -- mailchi.mp/mc.onbehalfof.aus…. She includes an intentionally dishonest comparison of the City’s fake internal audit and our Outside Audit charter amendment: "Proposition I would require the City to engage in a shorter, more expensive version of the efficiency audit it already conducts. That’s right: in addition to the City’s regular audits (there’s actually a whole department devoted to auditing), the City is already having an efficiency audit done right now, by Public Works LLC, thanks to an ordinance passed by Council following the failure of Prop Q last November. "Our current efficiency audit will take three years to finish, in contrast to the audit proposed by Prop I, which would need to be completed in one year, resulting in an increased cost. And the Prop I audit would have to suggest budget cuts greater than or equal to the cost of the audit itself, even if it meant cutting city services. Lastly, Prop I could open up the City to expensive lawsuits by individuals who dislike the outcome of the one-year audit. Learn about the differences between our current independent efficiency assessment and the one proposed on the ballot in the table below and at this link." REAL TALK: > There is no legitimate cost estimate for our charter amendment. None. > There is no mention of the fact our charter amendment REQUIRES the audit contractor to identify MORE IN SAVINGS than the cost of the audit (unlike their fake audit). So, it doesn’t “cost” anything. It’s revenue neutral at worst. > Houston’s external performance audit had a ratio of 254:1 in cost savings to audit cost. > Nothing about the city’s fake internal audit is required to be transparent. Our Outside Audit charter amendment is REQUIRED to be fully released, not just the findings, but all drafts of the findings and all background materials. > Their fake audit can be undone by six votes on the City Council any time after Jan. 1, 2027. And it will be if Prop I fails, trust me. > The City is doing a fake audit so they can falsely and fraudulently call ours redundant. > They have no real interest in becoming more efficient. They didn’t even propose their fake audit until we were six weeks into collecting petitions for our charter amendment. > Our charter amendment REQUIRES and audit be completed NO LESS THAN ONE YEAR before any future tax rate election is called by City Hall. A tax rate election is required if a city wishes to raise property taxes by more than 3.5% year over year, as Austin attempted last year with Prop Q (an immoral and unjustified 20% city property tax increase in perpetuity on EVERY residential and commercial property, which we led the fight to kill 63%-37% against the Mayor and 9/10 council members). In addition to this use of taxpayer-funded official activity being DEEPLY inappropriate, the Outside Audit will likely pass in her district (NW Austin, District 6, formerly well represented by Mackenzie Kelly) by a YES ON PROP I (Eye) vote of at least 70%, so it’s also politically unwise. Does this taxpayer use of money to lie about our Outside Audit charter amendment fire you up? Support us here: secure.anedot.com/save-austi… Please share!

This is where Liberalism inevitably leads. Watching the monuments of our civilisation be desecrated and our cities burned by foreigners who hate us. We are reaping the fruits of our own naivety.

Our children will build submarines. Migrants from the third world will wipe our bums and clean our feet. That was essentially Peter Malinauskas and then the AHA's argument for why we need mass immigration. This from the "compassionate left," by the way. The argument for immigration on the basis of filling undesirable jobs, which is repeated by leftists who spend their time complaining about racism and exploitation, is the exact opposite of what the Labor movement used to stand for. The original Labor movement fought against importing cheap foreign labour because it understood the threat to Australian workers' wages and bargaining power. You'd struggle to recognise that movement in today's Labor Party. I've written a short essay on my substack on the contradictions of the modern Left's defence of mass immigration compared with their roots. Read it here: jcdevries.substack.com/p/the…

CASA has filed a SENATE ETHICS COMPLAINT against Sen. Elissa Slotkin after she publicly called for deterring young Americans from working in the Trump administration. Slotkin said she wanted prospective staffers to fear they could be “buying myself a ton of problems” by taking a job and made clear: “I want that deterrence message sent.” CASA is calling on the Senate Ethics Committee to investigate whether those remarks crossed the line from political criticism into INTIMIDATION of Americans seeking public service.

There’s so much German heritage here in Fredericksburg, it’s crazy. We even met a few people who still speak German, although they told us they are the last generation to do so. It was really cool to see how much effort people here put into preserving their German heritage. The history of the town and how it was founded by German settlers is also really fascinating. We visited a museum where we learned all about it. 🇩🇪🇺🇸

Do you realize the invasion under Biden could have been worse? If @GregAbbott_TX was not Governor potentially millions more illegal immigrants would have crossed the border. If a Democrat was in power they would have had open arms and spent you hard earned money on care packets and hotel rooms for them. Please use your brain and vote for responsible, sensible government.

DA Garza has blood on his hands. A lot of it. But hey - you have to break a few eggs to make an omelet. Maybe some of this lawlessness that he advocates for will come back to him. Karma is a bitch that way sometimes. Wouldn't it be ironic if it comes from some monster he failed to prosecute?
UPDATE: Alonzo Mabry is dead. In March, the 62-year-old was using a computer at Austin's Central Library when the man next to him, Daniel Vasquez, stood up, hit him in the head, and stomped on his skull while he lay unconscious. Then Vasquez went back to his computer. Mabry died in hospice and Vasquez was charged with murder last week. Before the library, Vasquez had punched a CapMetro bus driver in the mouth. That was dismissed by prosecutors. He also punched a mother in the face in front of her 11-year-old son, then punched the woman who tried to stop him. Those were also dismissed. DA Jose Garza's office sent him to a six-month rehab program instead. He finished in June 2025 and every charge was wiped and he went back to the street.

Criminals will always find firearms. Always. Law abiding civilians had theirs confiscated by their government for "their own good". Now they have to depend on the same government for protection but it does not look like the government has the stomach for what it needs to do.

If you vote for Democrat candidates at any level this is what you eventually get. Chaos and destruction. This is the result of leftist policies.
PARIS LOOKS LIKE A WAR ZONE THIS MORNING. Burned-out cars. Debris everywhere. Luxury stores with smashed windows. Monuments tagged. People walking past the wreckage like it’s normal. This is what walking through the city looks like on October 18th after last night’s “protests.” This is what happens when a country imports millions who refuse to assimilate, ignores the crime that follows, and then pretends the resulting chaos is just “economic frustration.” It ended with hundreds of shops looted, cars torched, and streets looking like a battlefield. Over 1,800 arrested. France chose open borders over order. Now its capital looks like this.

Austin promised to "reset" its social-services spending, found tons of compliance problems in their review, and recommended zero cuts. A Catholic Charities contract to pay immigrants' federal filing fees, even though half its cases don't have a fee. It kept the full $126,720. A $71,376 mental health contract that served about 4% of the clients it promised. Recommendation was to keep funding it. A health bus that, two years in, still isn't running. The City has moved its target date six times. A $349,710 contract with Sickle Cell Texas Marc Thomas Foundation, which the city says inflated its numbers, billed for costs it wasn't allowed to charge, and served people who didn't qualify. Staff proposed cutting it in July but the city extended it at full price anyway. How did NOTHING get cut? Because every evaluator got the same instruction: if a contractor is underperforming but the "need" is still a real one theoretically, don't recommend a reduction. In August, the city restored $4.7 million to social services and declared preserving that funding a “policy priority.” And the city still hasn't released the names of the 26 flagged contracts. The Audit and Finance Committee gets a briefing on it Wednesday, but nothing is actually up for a vote.

🚨 NOW: Sen. Elissa Slotkin is acting UNHINGED after she got caught red-handed planning political persecutions of conservatives, saying we ONLY criticize her because she's a WOMAN 🤡 "There's something about being a woman...that REALLY gets under their skin." She's the one who said on tape that she wants teens too scared to work for Trump! "I want that deterrence message." Trump called her a low-life because that's what she is. Playing the gender card doesn't work anymore, Deep State crook!

Last year I was attacked in Paris by a pro-Hamas hate mob. They were screaming “F*** Israel, F*** USA”. This hate and violence was spreading like wildfire. And now, the same mob is waving the same flags and chanting the same chants while Paris burns. This was never just about Israel. It was never just about Jews. This is a war on the West and the freedom and values we hold dear. I said it then and I’ll say it again: wake up. This has to be stopped.

AUSTIN MAN shoved a man to the ground on Congress Ave and punched him in the head repeatedly while yelling that he was in the CIA. The victim was just standing on the corner minding his own business. Police had been called about a fight involving a machete, and they found a hatchet lying in the middle of the street. The assault charge was dismissed. Since then, Gilbert Perez has asked police to take him to jail three times. In July he was caught outside a downtown 7-Eleven he'd been banned from, holding a rock, after he tried to break a window. He told the officer he wanted to go to jail. In August he walked into the same store with a rock and threatened to smash the windows unless staff called the cops. Prosecutors declined to charge him. Last month he went back again and told police he knew about the ban and "disregarded it." Prosecutors declined that case too. Two days later he refused to leave a business on East Riverside and told the officer he wanted to go to jail. The Chick-fil-A down the block banned him too. He kept coming back anyway. In March he was arrested for felony criminal mischief, more than $2,500 in damage. DA Jose Garza's office gave him 7 days. 9 cases. 5 declined or dismissed. His longest sentence was 7 days. He keeps committing crimes and telling the police he wants to go to jail, but prosecutors keep insisting he's safe for the street.
