Vibe coded my first game this past week with my nieces... its pretty fun! They had fun playing it too, added some DBZ + Smash style gameplay today.
Made it to help show them adv. math concepts of Sin/Cos and basic Trig used in game dev and how easy it is to make fun games today.
Game can be played here with (WASD) controls:

Works with 2 x Switch 2 Joycons using vJoy and should work with 2 regular controllers (untested):

XR veterans are hard to surprise. Videos can’t quite capture what Sphenomenon feels like. These reactions can. Without excited developers, there’s no thriving spatial computing ecosystem.
@finkd @sama @satyanadella @sundarpichai @elonmusk @boztank @DavidSHolz want to try what got them this excited? I’d love to give you a personal demo.
Instead of VR Glasses.... someone should release VR Goggles... a bit bulkier than glasses, fit more comfortably (less pressure on nose), has the battery power all around the headset, make weight more balanced towards the back... and do PC/5G Wireless streaming instead of having a tethered puck, like, what are we doing?
PS. The VR in FF7REMAKE are called VR Goggles in the internals of the game.
Was a fun fight and nicely made video! Hope they don't do it again as... these robots are too dangerous to be around humans!! But... at least they did it before they upgraded the robots fighting tech!
Hot Take: You know why Meta has failed to be a successful VR company and had a "Legendary Misadventure" and hasn't materialized the "metaverse" yet (there is one hugely successful one, and it's called @VRChat ) is because... one simple mistake they made: They killed Rift 2 and PCVR gaming and they tried to merge their PCVR headset with their Standalone (weaker) headset.
These should have been 2 different products, one for casual, pickup and play easy gaming... and one for hardcore, PCVR gamers. But instead, they got lazy and tried to merge the two into 1 product. Which is why they mainly failed IMO and why a lot of original Oculus staff quit the company (many were against abandoning the Oculus brand and PCVR gaming). Standalone should have been for casual gamers and children, and PCVR should have been for hardcore gamers and adults... trying to merge the two makes neither happy and elicits churn from the users, making it look like VR is dying or dead... if VR died, it's cuz Meta killed it with killing Rift 2 and PCVR gaming.
Also... developing for Quest, as a developer, is a nightmare... would be nice to have a PCVR headset that just works all the time (I just had to spend 2 weeks debugging why my Quest Link stopped working, apparently they don't support newer NVidia drivers anymore lol)
If the new Meta VR Glasses are called.... VR Glasses... and have cameras on them... then does that mean, we can call people that wear them in public, "glassholes" again? 🤔
This was pretty cool! Props to @NickDobrikov for putting on a fun show and keeping everyone "mostly" safe!
Just got my custom made Belegarth Pokémon cards from a sword fighting, camping event I went to. These are pretty rad!
Summon me if you need some final fantasizing and "over compensation" techniques! ⚔️
Went to this last night and reminds me of this video:

Also, if you wanna know what the fight was like, this sums it up:

Wow, this is a thing? Lol... didn't even know there was a Street Fighter movie coming out.
The Street Fighter popcorn bucket is "aerodynamic" and "ergonomic" according to Guile actor Cody Rhodes, who revealed the collectible by wearing it on his head. bit.ly/4cPv4xR
People have often told me that my immersive technology hardware collection belongs in a museum. Opening October 1 at Computer History Museum in Mountain View is Extended Reality: Visions of the Future, a collection of other people's cool XR relics. Go see the Sword of Damacles!
Seems to be getting more attention and hype than FF7:Revelations. Seems like a REMAKE done right! Hopefully, and also faithfully as well.
