He helped reverse over 30 years of declining crime rates in one year, so we could suddenly go back to 1993 level murders, because he paid for stupid fucks who decline to prosecute damned near everything (unless you are a political opponent obviously!) Cities like New York have gone to shit partly because of this fucker's meddling. You, me, we are less safe.
