Those 165 countries may be puppets of Starlink and your government. India is not. Ambani is not the boss of India. Indian citizens are the boss of India. And we need to be protected from crony deep state proxies. I had so much respect for @elonmusk till today. The way he is pushing US Scientific terrorism in India, I lost it
Starlink is licensed in over 165 countries and has spent five years complying with every single law and requirement of the government of India, so why still no license? Is Ambani the real boss of India?

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗿𝘂𝗸𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘀𝗱𝗼𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗱 There are great books. There are great poems. And then there is the 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗿𝘂𝗸𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹. Thank you @narendramodi Ji for gifting this classic to President Putin. Written in Tamil around 𝟮,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗴𝗼, Thiruvalluvar accomplished something almost impossible to comprehend. He compressed a philosophy of human civilisation into just 𝟭,𝟯𝟯𝟬 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘀. Think about the architecture: 𝟭𝟯𝟯 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀. Exactly 𝟭𝟬 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘀 in every chapter. Exactly 𝟮 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 in every couplet. Exactly 𝟳 𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘀 (𝟰+𝟯) in every couplet. Yet within this microscopic structure, Valluvar covers virtually everything that matters to human life: 𝗘𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗰𝘀. 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆. 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽. 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲. 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗰𝘀. 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲. 𝗣𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘆. 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽. 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁. 𝗗𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗰𝘆. 𝗪𝗮𝗿. 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆. 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁. 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗽𝘀𝘆𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆. 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲. And then come the details that are almost mind-blowing. The work begins with 𝗮, the first letter of Tamil. It ends with 𝗻, the last. The entire work has only 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 great divisions: 𝗔𝗿𝗮𝗺 — Virtue 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗹 — Wealth & Society 𝗜𝗻𝗯𝗮𝗺 — Love And the largest of them, 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗹, contains 𝟳𝟬𝟬 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘀 devoted to how society, government and material life should work. So this is not merely a book of “moral sayings.” It is a compressed 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲. And here is the truly extraordinary part: Valluvar expressed each thought inside the same severe poetic architecture. Not 10 lines. Not a page. Not an essay. 𝗦𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘀. Again and again. 𝟭,𝟯𝟯𝟬 times. The ancient Tamil tradition understood the audacity of this achievement. The metaphor that famous Tamil poet Avvaiyar gave the Thiru Kural is staggering: 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘴𝘥𝘰𝘮 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘴𝘦𝘢𝘴 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘢 𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘥. That may sound like poetic exaggeration. 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗞𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹. It starts to sound like an understatement. And if we are being intellectually honest, the comparison is unavoidable. The West has produced extraordinary monuments of thought: 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗼, 𝗔𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗲, 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲, 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗲 and many others. But 𝗡𝗢 — 𝗔𝗕𝗦𝗢𝗟𝗨𝗧𝗘𝗟𝗬 𝗡𝗢 — 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲 to the Thirukural’s combination of: 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 + 𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗼𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗵 + 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 + 𝗽𝗼𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝘆 + 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 + 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗿𝘂𝘃𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘂𝘃𝗮𝗿 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁 𝗮 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝟭,𝟯𝟯𝟬 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘀. Seven metrical units at a time. 𝗔 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗱.
Presented President Putin with a Russian translation of the Thirukkural, which carries the eternal wisdom of the great Thiruvalluvar across languages and borders.

Remembering Nirmal "Nimsdai" Purja MBE. Husband. Father. Brother. World-renowned groundbreaking mountaineer. Entrepreneur. Leader. Gurkha. Special Forces Veteran.   These titles describe who Nimsdai is, but they don't capture what he represents. Nimsdai built a legacy by challenging limits and breaking boundaries. He redefined what was possible and showed the world what can be achieved when belief, courage, and relentless determination come together.   Nimsdai dedicated his life to expanding the boundaries of human potential while using his achievements to create opportunities for others. He used his voice to champion others, especially Nepal's climbing community. Through the work of the Nimsdai Foundation, he transformed the lives of mountain communities, championed education and opportunity, and inspired people across the world to pursue lives of purpose, resilience and service. His vision, leadership and determination built Elite Exped, Nimsdai Foundation, Skydive Nimsdai and Nimsdai Store into what they are today. His legacy will live on in the countless lives he changed and the people he inspired to climb their own mountains.   Nimsdai was climbing Broad Peak as part of his own expedition to become the first person in history to climb all 14 eight-thousanders twice without supplementary oxygen. Nimsdai was accompanied by his trusted climbing partners and guides, Pur Bahadur Gurung (Yukta) and Nima Sherpa. With only Cho Oyu remaining to complete all 14 of the world’s 8,000-metre peaks for a third time as part of his Hat-Trick Project in support of the Nimsdai Foundation.   Yet, true to the philosophy that defined his life, this climb was never simply about records. It was about pushing the limits of what was possible and inspiring others to believe that their own mountains could also be climbed. On 28 July, Nimsdai dedicated the climb with these words: "To everyone who carried me here. Supporters. Critics. All of you. Without both sides, there is no fire. So thank you genuinely. My purpose has never been about me. It's about what I represent. It's about showing YOU that your mountains - whatever they are - are climbable." Those pioneering final words perfectly capture who Nimsdai is. His greatest achievement has never simply been the summits he's stood on, but the belief he's instilled in millions of people around the world: that impossible is often just a starting point. So Nimsdai, we salute you for reminding us all that every mountain is climbable. You never left anyone behind, even when it meant putting yourself in harm's way. Your courage, selflessness, and unwavering spirit will continue to inspire us, and your legacy will live on in every person you inspired. We will honour your vision by continuing the work you started; your mission lives on through all of us. If you could see what we see today, you would know that you achieved your mission. Nimsdai, you truly showed the world that "giving up is not in the blood," and for that, we thank you for ever and always. Rest well Nimsdai. Your spirit will continue to inspire generations to come.

TN govt is revising its Schedule of Rates (SoR) for construction materials & labour ahead of major infrastructure tenders, aiming to cut project costs by aligning govt-approved rates with prevailing market prices. PWD’s expert committee is reviewing rates of cement, steel, blue metal, PVC products, labour and other key inputs. While SOR is revised every year, officials said it wasn’t scientifically verified with market value and mostly, officials repeatedly the previous year’s SOR with blindly adding “extra”. The revision could bring uniformity and savings across departments and urban local bodies. Contractors said steel prices were Rs 55 per kg in Pwd’s SoR but Chennai Corporation’s SoR showed Rs 90 per kg with project costs largely getting inflated. Contractors want both inflated and underestimated rates corrected, saying some roadwork inputs cost up to 35% more than prescribed SoR rates.

The science behind the Hydrogen train is wild. It is a train that drinks hydrogen and breathes out plain water. No smoke, no diesel, no fire inside it. Once you understand how that actually works, it starts sounding like magic that happens to be real. Let me build it up from the very beginning. First, what happened. On 17 July 2026, PM Modi Ji flagged off India's first hydrogen train. It runs between Jind and Sonipat in Haryana, an 89 km stretch. India is now the sixth country in the world to run one, after Germany and a few others. Now the science. Every train needs power to move. Old trains burned coal. Then diesel trains burned diesel. Both work by burning something, which means smoke and pollution. Electric trains are cleaner, but they need those wires hanging over the track, and the power in those wires still often comes from burning coal in a power plant somewhere. A hydrogen train does something completely different. It makes its own electricity on board, out of thin air and a gas. No burning. No smoke. No wires needed. Like I said, the science behind it is genuinely beautiful. You need to remember one thing from school. Water is H2O. Two hydrogen atoms stuck to one oxygen atom. That is what water is made of. A hydrogen fuel cell just runs that fact backwards. Instead of splitting water into hydrogen and oxygen, it takes hydrogen gas stored in tanks on the train, and oxygen from the normal air around us, and lets them join back together to form water. And here is the trick. When hydrogen and oxygen come together to make water, they release energy. In a fuel cell, that energy comes out as electricity. So the machine is basically doing this. > Hydrogen plus oxygen goes in. > Electricity comes out to run the motors. And the only leftover, the only waste, is water. Clean water and a little warm air. Now let me explain the fuel cell itself. Imagine a sandwich. On one side you push in hydrogen. On the other side you let in air, which carries oxygen. In the middle there is a special thin sheet called a membrane. That membrane is picky. It lets tiny bits of the hydrogen sneak through in one particular way, and that sneaking sets up a flow of electric charge. That flow of charge is electricity. Once the hydrogen gets to the other side, it meets the oxygen, they hold hands, and they become water. No flame. No explosion. No bang. Just a chemical handshake that leaks out electricity. That is the part people find hard to believe. It looks like nothing is happening, and yet it is powering a 10 coach train. Now why this particular launch is a proud engineering moment. Most hydrogen trains in the world are tiny. Two or three coaches. They run on short countryside routes carrying a few hundred people. India did not build a toy. India built a 10 coach trainset that can carry around 2,600 passengers. The design has two power cars, one at each end, holding the hydrogen tanks and fuel cells, and eight passenger coaches in between. It is built to run at up to 110 kmph. That is the biggest, or one of the biggest, hydrogen train efforts anywhere. We did not just copy a small foreign version. We scaled it up to Indian crowd size. And it was built here in India. The coach came out of the Integral Coach Factory in Chennai. A dedicated hydrogen plant was set up in Jind to make and fill the fuel. This is Make in India in the truest sense, not an imported train with a sticker on it. Now, hydrogen is not free magic. There is a catch, and it is important. To get hydrogen gas, you have to make it, usually by splitting water using electricity. If that electricity comes from burning coal, then you have just moved the pollution from the train to the power plant. It is only truly green if the hydrogen is made using solar or wind power. India is building that, but we are not fully there yet. Hydrogen is also expensive to produce right now, and the tanks and fuel cells cost a lot. So for the next few years, this will be pricier than a normal train. This one route is a pilot. A test. A place to learn before spreading it wider. And storing hydrogen safely needs serious engineering, because the gas is very light and very flammable. To their credit, the train has multiple safety layers that sniff for leaks, heat, flames and smoke. So, this is not the finished revolution. It is the first real step, and a genuinely big one. A country of 1.4 billion people just built one of the largest hydrogen trains on Earth, that turns a gas and air into electricity and gives back only water. :)
🚆 India's First Hydrogen Train Is Here 🇮🇳 Prime Minister Narendra Modi FLAGS OFF India's first HYDROGEN-POWERED train between Jind and Sonipat. 🔥 — India Becomes the 6th Country to Launch a Hydrogen-Powered Train. 👌

🚶 BENGALURU'S FOOTPATHS ARE GETTING THEIR SPACE BACK From July 1–10, the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) is running a 'Safe Footpath Campaign' across 1,000 km of road network — clearing encroachments from footpaths in all five city corporations. 📊 WHY THIS MATTERS 30% of every 1,000 road accident deaths in Bengaluru are pedestrians. The Supreme Court has been clear: walking on a footpath safely is a fundamental right, not a privilege. 🚫 WHAT'S BEING CLEARED ➡Illegal parking on footpaths (vehicles will be towed) ➡Name boards, chairs, tables, and kiosks blocking pedestrian paths ➡Vendors and shops spilling onto walkways ✅ HOW IT'S BEING DONE ➡Notices will be issued before any action — not a sudden crackdown ➡Action will follow the Street Vendors' Protection Act and SC guidelines ➡Municipal officers, police, and clearance teams will coordinate ➡Damaged slabs and kerbs will be repaired alongside clearance It follows the #1KmChallenge encouraging people to walk short distances instead of driving — Bengaluru is trying to become more walkable, one footpath at a time. 🗣️ WE NEED YOUR EYES ON THE GROUND Let's make Bengaluru's footpaths walkable again — together. #SafeFootpathBengaluru #PedestrianRights #GBA #WalkableBengaluru #BengaluruTraffic #Bengaluru #Citylife #CommuterLife

Amazing to read about G.D.Naidu. Honestly, being from TN we have not read about him in school texts. We should be proud as an Indian about such inventors. @san_x_m #Indianmanufacturing
His name was G. D. Naidu. He was born in 1893 in a small village near Coimbatore, into a farming family. He hated school, left after the third standard, and never returned to formal education. As a teenager, he saw a British officer riding a motorcycle and could not believe a vehicle could move without an animal pulling it. Determined to own one, he left his village, worked for nearly three years as a waiter in a hotel, and saved every coin until he could buy a motorcycle. Then he did something unusual. He took the entire machine apart, piece by piece, simply to understand how it worked. By putting it back together again, he taught himself to be a mechanic. That curiosity changed his life. He began with a single bus that he drove himself and eventually built one of the finest bus services in the country. In 1937, at his workshop in Coimbatore, he built India’s first indigenous electric motor. That invention played a major role in transforming Coimbatore into one of India’s leading industrial cities. He did not stop there. Over his lifetime, he developed more than a hundred inventions, including an electric razor that won international recognition, ultra thin shaving blades, a tamper proof voting machine, a fruit juice extractor, an affordable radio for ordinary homes, and even a small two seater car, though he was denied a licence to manufacture it. People began calling him the Edison of India. Nobel laureate C. V. Raman described him as a man in a million. A boy who walked away from school after the third standard spent the rest of his life teaching a nation how to build. Follow for stories India deserves to remember.

Welcome deployment. Any measure protecting lives on Indian roads is appreciated. This should be extended to all the concessionaires and form a safety culture @MORTHIndia @PIB_India
Truck Technology Is Protecting Workers and Road Users on Indian Highways As the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (@MORTHIndia) actively expands National Highways, its focus is not just on faster connectivity but equally on bringing safety standards to a global level. Infrastructure development today is not only about building wider roads; it is about protecting every life that travels on them. With this vision, advanced safety systems like Truck Mounted Attenuators (TMAs) have been deployed on many sections of the highways, and these global practices are saving many lives, including those of on-ground workers and highway users. Protecting Those Who Work on the Roads Behind every highway upgrade and maintenance activity are hundreds of workers who operate in challenging and high-risk environments. Maintenance and construction zones on busy highways are among the most vulnerable areas, where speeding vehicles and limited visibility can lead to severe accidents. To reduce these risks, MoRTH has consistently encouraged concessionaires to adopt advanced safety interventions across highway projects. Responding to this vision, one of the concessionaires has started taking a proactive step by deploying Truck Mounted Attenuators with integrated wig-wag warning systems. This concessionaire operates and manages 9 National Highway projects spanning a cumulative length of 681 kilometres across Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat, making this deployment a significant milestone in highway safety management. As a user, i consider 2 criterias crucial - affordable last mile connectivity and fares compared to existing modes. Metros will become super useful if last mile connectivity is addressed. Author concern on demand during planning versus actual does not concern common users now.

Lucknow no longer has those old, run-down diesel vehicles on the roads. Speaking particularly about auto-rickshaws, from what I observed while travelling around the city for the past three to four hours, almost all of them now seem to be electric. They not only look good but are also better for the environment, as they don’t cause noise or air pollution. The best part is that even at 10 PM, there is still a lot of traffic, with people out and about and a lively atmosphere all around. #Lucknow or rather the #UttarPradesh we once knew—has completely changed now. #rslive

Today a court in Madurai sentenced all 9 police officers to death. Their crime was murder. Their victims were Jayaraj and Bennix. A father and son who kept their mobile shop open 45 minutes past curfew in June 2020. They were beaten for 7 hours through the night. Forced to wipe their own blood off the floor with their clothes. Jayaraj had 17 injuries. Bennix had 13. Both died within 3 days. The judge called it rarest of rare. Today India told every police officer in this country. Nobody is above the law. Not even the law itself. Selvarani waited 2192 days for this moment so as we.
