Republican Senator Lisa Murkowski: โ€œAfter speaking with Chair Powell this morning, itโ€™s clear the administrationโ€™s investigation is nothing more than an attempt at coercion. If the Department of Justice believes an investigation into Chair Powell is warrantedโ€ฆthen Congress needs to investigate the Department of Justice. The stakes are too high to look the other way: if the Federal Reserve loses its independence, the stability of our markets and the broader economy will suffer. My colleague, Senator Tillis, is right in blocking any Federal Reserve nominees until this is resolved.โ€

Republicans are trying to redraw congressional district lines to keep their grip on Congress in the midterms and beyond. Voters should pick their politicians, not the other way around. Get involved with @DemRedistrict as they fight back: act.redistrictingaction.org/โ€ฆ

Prayer is not freaking enough. Prayers does not end school shootings. prayers do not make parents feel safe sending their kids to school. Prayer does not bring these kids back. Enough with the thoughts and prayers.

Still true today.
Today, as Christians around the world come together to pray for peace and an end to war and violence, please join me in this prayer for the Holy Land. (1/4)

โœ‹ so proud of Senator Kelly! He is what American leadership looks likes!
Elon Musk accused Sen. Mark Kellyย of betraying his country after the Arizona Democrat visited Ukraine over the weekend and urged the U.S. to stand with Ukrainians against continued Russian aggression.ย ย  Raise โœ‹ if you stand with Sen. Mark Kelly

I stand with Ukraine ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡บ ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ณ & the U.S. I grew up in. I do not stand with the current administration, todayโ€™s Republican Party.

Iโ€™ll be damned. Maybe he does have some active brain cells. Never thought Iโ€™d say this but: I agree with Jeff Flake ๐Ÿ‘‡
Iโ€™ll be supporting Kamala Harris for President and Tim Walz for Vice President. Iโ€™ve served with Kamala in the U.S Senate. Iโ€™ve also served with Tim in the House of Representatives. I know them. I know first of hand of their fine character and love of country. I would encourage all Republicans who feel this way to do the same.

Iโ€™m voting for Kamala Harris because I support a free and thriving America where women have control over their own bodies, children are safe from gun violence, our economy is competitive, and we have a fighting chance against climate change. We wonโ€™t go back. #WomenForHarris

This fantastic news just keeps better! Canโ€™t wait to call her Madam Governor!
So, if Harris and Walz win, Minnesota Lt. Governor Peggy Flanagan (White Earth Ojibwe) becomes the first Native American woman governor in U.S. history.
