When floods submerged our own clinics at Manchar Lake in 2022, we learned that a health system must protect itself to protect communities. IHHN has since reached 2.7M+ people.

@IHHN_PK and @UNICEF_Pakistan screened 1,617 students in Badin and Sujawal, identifying 244 children with vision or hearing concerns. 15 received assistive devices on the spot.

Since its inception, CHD-IHHN has screened 1,169,297 people for mental health concerns and conducted 245,033 counselling sessions.

The Pre-ICON Mini Symposium, “Health System Resilience in the Face of Crisis: Why Climate-Ready Primary Care Matters,” took place today.
ICON 2026 is IHHN’s biennial multidisciplinary conference, bringing healthcare professionals and experts together to share knowledge and perspectives across healthcare.
Dr. Hiba Ashraf, Dr. Yasmeen Qazi, Prof. Jalil Khan, and Dr. Mah Talat brought primary care, policy, clinical, and health-system perspectives to the discussion, including IHHN’s lessons from the Pakistan floods.

Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and CM Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah visited TF Hospital, Islamkot.
The CM reviewed the under-construction 50-bed facility and announced that construction would be expedited, with completion targeted within the year.

Malaria during pregnancy can affect a baby’s development.
So far, with the Government of Pakistan, IHHN has provided Insecticide-Treated Nets (ITNs) to 3.3 million+ women at ANC centres across the country. Protecting mothers protects children.
