Well this is very exciting! I got to bring Death to life in 'Be My Horde' by @polishedgames! And you don't have long to wait to play it - release date 16th November!
It was such a joy to work with the team on this, I had so much fun with it & cannot wait to hear & see it soon!
Someone clever once said that death puts the mouth to rest. But it seems its own mouth will never stop opening this time.
That’s because the amazing @VoiceOverKatie is joining us as the voice of Death in #BeMyHorde🦴!
Welcome to the team!

I dislike vibe coding as much as I dislike diffusion models, LLMs and other similar stuff.
It makes me sad that some artists give it a pass because it doesn’t affect them while also being against generative slop.
I want stuff made by people.
That fact that people don't understand that Kenny is talking about CEOs pushing AI for investor money (and way overpromising AI ability) is what the Tweet is about. Like cool you like AI for slop.
But you dont have to feel personally attacked since the tweet isn't about you.

Dawn finally gets more of a voice in the next Selaco update and I can’t wait for you all to hear her!
@melissamedinavo absolutely nailed the character.
Don't let billionaires convince you slop is the future. They're used to managing & directing, not making things themselves. Of course they can't see the difference. They don't understand your love for the craft. Keep making personal, beautiful games.
You've got my support 💖

That's not a fair take. There are peeps that work for all sorts of companies that suck.
You can't blame people for putting food on the table.
I guess this is what happens with the AI companies and investors start throwing piles of cash around to make sure their investment doesn't go bust.

If you can't be bothered to put in the effort and thought then I couldn't be bothered to play it.
Same for Images, Music, writing and software.

I hear a lot about how games need to be faster but if we weren’t bogged down by bad management games would be made faster 💀 they’re trying to make games faster to give more time for managers to be worse
Tim Sweeney has shared a few more comments following today's news about AI usage at Epic Games
"Our more modest aim is to survive the AI revolution, help other developers do the same, and come out on the other end making better code and content faster."
"Much of the room wants it to be 2016 again, but it's not. Our job, as the provider of tools and technology to much of the industry, is to design for the present that is and the future that will soon be. Personally I'm optimisic about it and see it as empowering for creators."
