This video is going viral, cool, but here’s the facts.
This clip is half-right and then it jumps the shark.
What’s true: BlackRock holds ~12.7% of OGE Energy (OG&E’s parent). Vanguard entities hold ~10%. Institutions own most of the stock. Bills in Oklahoma have gone up. The MarketBeat screenshot is real.
What’s not true: they did not “buy out Oklahoma’s electrical grid” in Q2 2026.
OG&E has been a publicly traded, OCC-regulated utility for decades. BlackRock has held ~25–27 million OGE shares for years. The August “new $1.28B stake” headline is a 13F reporting artifact, not a takeover of the wires.
Index funds owning a utility is not the same thing as owning the grid, setting your rate, or selling the state. Rates still go through the Corporation Commission.
The bill shock has a paper trail that started way before this filing: Uri storm bonds still on the bill, approved rate cases, new plants for load growth, SPP transmission costs, and summer usage. Blame those in public. Don’t invent a secret grid sale.

Seems to me that they (Republicans and Democrats) are ALL in it together. Why would they want to get anything done that would shake up their gravy train? If any of the issues get solved and go away, they would have less to gripe at each other for. The more “they” can keep the masses divided, the more they can rape the American people behind closed doors. JMO…..

Looks to me like “Impeachment” is the plan. Just like it was last time. Just a distraction and a way to not have to get anything done so that they can point their fingers at each other in front of the cameras all the while sharing cocktails and cigars in the back rooms out of site of the people. At some point you got to ask yourself why do we keep voting these same politicians in??
I would rather vote for the unknown instead of the same old ones over and over that have shown their intentions to be self serving. Vote for the Independents!!!
