This is devastating. I met Eric last year. I was going to a movie at my local theater and he was there signing posters for an animated short called "Bullet Time" in which he voiced the lead. I had no idea, at the time, that he was basically the modern day Mel Blanc and the voice of nearly every Looney Tunes character.
He called my wife and I over to his table and started doing Bugs impressions for us, then asked if we wanted a poster. He proceeded to run through, like, 5 different voices. We had a good laugh and told him how great he was at them and he goes "Yeah! I'm Bugs!" and laughed with us as our jaws hit the floor. Of course, he was!
I was so taken by how humble and generous Eric was with his time. He seemed to love what he did so much. Man, this sucks. What a loss. I'm glad our paths crossed even for that brief moment.

It’s absolutely fine to just not want a game. But not wanting to buy Zelda because “i don’t wanna support this horrible company” while just finishing Wolverine is kind of an insane take right now.

Don’t FOMO over this set because the first day was a clean out.
Checked back by my Target today and the had a fresh stock behind the counter with limits. The manager claimed things were placed out like they were for launch day due to it being the “launch” but from now on at least at my store and I’m assuming many others that cards will be back behind the counter with limits.
Don’t give into the fear mongering people are trying to push on this set. They are simply trying to capitalize on your FOMO.

We lost a young Pokémon star who touched the hearts of so many. 🥺💔
Avery the Poke Kid, the beloved Pokémon content creator who inspired hundreds of thousands of people with his journey, has passed away at the age of 12.
Avery became known for his love of Pokémon cards, his pack-opening videos, and his incredible positivity while battling cancer. His story brought together a huge Pokémon community that supported him throughout his journey.
Just days before his passing, Avery achieved one of his biggest dreams — reaching 100,000 YouTube subscribers and receiving his Silver Play Button. 🥹❤️
His parents shared the heartbreaking news on September 19, 2026, after Avery had recently entered hospice care following the progression of his cancer.
His smile, love for Pokémon, and the joy he brought to so many people will not be forgotten.
Rest in peace, Avery. 🕊️❤️
