Apparently being the single most disrupted airport in the world, being in a state of emergency and official advice to avoid travel isn’t enough to get @Qantas to rebook me to connect through AKL tomorrow. Wild.
Wellington our most disrupted airport right now. Winds at 34 knots, gusting to 46 with rain and low clouds not helping with flights today.

Today I learned that Air NZ's compassionate fares must be flown within 7 days of death. If a service is being held two weeks out, you pay full price.

Apparently there is some flexibility, but you have to ask the same question 8 different ways to get there.

Seriously though, at surely having several million tired/grumpy NZers driving around its a far greater risk to life than “strong currents and surges”

Preliminarily at mag 6.9. That's a decent jiggle. Off the coast a decent amount though and fairly deep.

Useful. @AdobeCare Creative Cloud thinks I'm signed in 9 times on my desktop and 3 times on my laptop, so I can't actually use the extraordinarily expensive software I pay for.

Air NZ cutting back the morning/evening DUD-WLG-DUD flights is going great. Just had a flight booked for 21 March, a full 4 months out, and the day trip is $512 (albeit on a flexi ticket). Wild.

Oh, and a May flight (it's not me booking them so didn't know it was coming), just shy of 6 months out, $485. It's expensive to live in Dunedin.

And August! Over 9 months ahead, and still $485. Absolutely brutal.

Interesting @KiwibankNZ won’t let my 12-year-old do payments on Internet banking because she’ll get scammed. Seems weird, let her learn now when all she’s got to lose is $27. Logically they should probably cut access to older folk too, they seem to get scammed more often.

Unusual visitor to DUD tomorrow. Someone important due in? Hope they packed their togs.

Super curious on a rainy afternoon that about a third of the cars in the @DnCityCouncil P60 library carpark are bone dry (while countless cars are failing to find a park)

Just got this from TSB. Called, and it’s outside hours. Legit compromise or glitch from TSB?

Called TSB. Apparently a lot of peoples' cards were trying to be linked to Google Pay last night. They can't really explain how though, which is slightly concerning.

Why are banks so shitty at security? No 2FA, no audit log of recent logins, and no way to force logout of the mobile app after changing my password.
