Two weeks ago I finished my internship at @FlatironCCQ working on the superconducting properties of the t-t’ Hubbard model using @ITensorLib. A great experience in a great place, where I got to meet brilliant researchers and make a lot of friends. Hope to be back soon!

Out of those who ticked Julia, how many of them are also active @ITensorLib users? (I am!)

The referees were asking us for this kind of comparison, and TeNPy is really fast! So it's a good library to compare to. We host those benchmarks externally so they can be updated as the libraries evolve.

New country, new city, new language, new research group...so why not a new programming language as well? 😅 Spent this afternoon finally getting to grips with @JuliaLanguage and @ITensorLib. I'm blown away by how fast it was to get up and running, and doing *real* calculations!

Our latest paper just appeared on @PhysRevResearch . Kudos to my student, Raphael Teixeira, who not only did an amazing job studying lattice models supporting parafermions but also learned the nuts and bolts of @ITensorLib to perform the calculations!

This looks good! I've been learning Julia lately, mainly inspired by a PhD student I work with who's gotten great results from the @JuliaLanguage version of @ITensorLib, and the more I see from this language, the more impressed by it I am. Looking forward to learning more! 👍
The #JuliaCon 2021 workshop list has been announced and wow is it going to be a great week of learning the week prior to the conference: pretalx.com/juliacon2021/fea… #JuliaLang
