Thank you for putting your ignorance on display. It is instructive to hear you celebrating as you destroy your own #environment and add to the 400,000 #Muslim Arab deaths you have already caused. Why do you hate #Yemen? Why do you want #Yemenis to suffer? #HouthisareHypocrites

Amazingly, we agree: "there is no place in [the Red Sea] for those who attack and kill Arabs and Muslims" ... The death toll from your brutality @Nasr_Amer1 @Moh_Alhouthi @AnsarrAllahMC1 is close to 400,000 Arabs and Muslims in #Yemen. #HouthisAreHypocrites #HouthisKill #Liars

From @IRConsilium "the Red Sea won’t be made safe by simply transferring the SAFER’s cargo to the NAUTICA. Safety will only come when the NAUTICA moves out of the area and the offshore portion of the Marib-Ras Isa pipeline is drained and capped." diplomaticourier.com/posts/p… 2/x

This is an excellent & important piece on the need for rigor in analysis. Dr. David Soud looks at how inexpert reporting by @CNN on #gold led to real & dangerous consequences for #Sudan. Serious journalism cannot afford to be overrun by uninformed opinion.

It was here on @Twitter that #Turkey and #Syria were warned by @hogrbe on 3 Feb that an #earthquake was coming in a region that has contributed more than $35billion in taxes to fund earthquake preparedness. Why has Turkey's response been so inadequate?

Pleased to share thoughts on this new trend of #Unlawfare, distinct from #lawfare in that it is grounded not in the law, but baseless legal positions. States are using these fake legal positions to bully other states to gain strategic and operational advantage. That's Unlawfare!
In The MOC's What to Watch 2023 series, @ImRalby argues that we are increasingly observing an adaptation in the trend of international lawfare. Termed "unlawfare," states are leveraging entirely falsified claims to bludgeon opponents for political gain.
Delighted to share that our CEO Dr. @ImRalby is joining @CMS_Washington as a Non-Resident Senior Fellow. Looking forward to good collaboration on pressing issues of maritime defense, security and strategy.
CMS is thrilled to have @ImRalby join the team as our newest Non-Resident Senior Fellow!
Dr. Ralby is a globally recognized expert in maritime law/security. He is founder & CEO of @IRConsilium and a Senior Fellow at the @AtlanticCouncil Global Energy Center. Welcome, Ian!

A #PRLEC2022 panel on #TNOC in the maritime domain brought together chair Dr @AnnaPowles, and members Mr James Movick, Dr @ImRalby, CDR Martin Bryant and Dr @EfreconMerlyon.
They discussed the need for information sharing across a network of Pacific maritime agencies.
It is actually sad to see that we at @IRConsilium (specifically @RohiniRalby, @ImRalby and David Soud) were right in our predictions in February that #SriLanka would be among the first of the dominoes to fall as a consequence of the #russianinvasion of #ukraine.
Real pleasure to co-author this piece with @Admiral_Foggo for the MOC on how the #SriLanka crisis is a foreseeable outcome of the #russianinvasion of #ukraine (that @RohiniRalby, David Soud and I foresaw in February). Where is next and what can we do? Have a read!
