With the right management practices, Africa can build positive carbon budgets and realize its potential to feed the world. 🌾 Dr. Kaushik Majumdar highlighted that Africa’s food and nutrition security depends on regenerating arable land — with the population set to reach over a third of humanity by 2100, the time to act is now. 📘 Dr. Manyewu Matuba shared the African Union’s 10-Year Plan for Fertilizer and Soil Health — a visionary roadmap to improve nutrient management, protect land, and uplift livelihoods. 🤝 Mr. Larry Umunna underscored the need for strong partnerships through the Coalition of Implementers to deliver this plan and drive real impact. 🌱 Dr. Rachid Mrabet reminded us that agriculture, employing nearly 70% of Africa’s workforce, is the continent’s backbone.
