Do banking apps specifically target GrapheneOS to block it?
The most common argument that discourages newcomers from installing GrapheneOS is the fear that their banking app might not work. In reality, most banking apps used worldwide work perfectly well, as you can see in the link below.
However, some apps actively block GrapheneOS users. For example, Revolut had a script specifically checking whether the OS running the app was GrapheneOS, and if so, blocking it purely for being GrapheneOS, not for being insecure or outdated. Revolut runs perfectly well on ancient, unsafe devices.
Banned for being GrapheneOS - just because you want a privacy-focused device. While Revolut is a specific case, most other banking apps that don't work fail because they enforce Google Play Integrity checks. But that is GOOGLE'S FAULT.
It is only because Google specifically targets GrapheneOS (which is the safest OS available) with their Play Integrity hardware attestation that we can't have every banking app possible on GrapheneOS.
Google is just mad that you are de-Googling and taking your privacy back.
Don't let them stop you.
De-Google, get GOS.

Linux phones: could they finally become a real alternative to Android and iOS?
After years of stagnation, Linux phones may be approaching a turning point.
In a recent article, Amos Batto explains how new hardware options, more mature interfaces like Phosh and Plasma Mobile, and tools such as Waydroid could make Linux phones more practical.
But better technology alone wonât be enough.
Projects like PINE64 and Purism have faced serious challenges. Building a phone is one thing; funding software development, maintaining hardware support and keeping a company afloat are much harder.
Jollaâs latest phone also suggests there is a market for alternatives, particularly among people who want more control over their devices.
Linux phones donât need to replace Android or iOS to matter. They need to become a practical option for people who value privacy, software freedom and digital sovereignty.
Would you consider switching to a Linux phone if it supported the apps and features you rely on every day?

This is the new GrapheneOS boot animation. It's generated frame-by-frame using a script. It has a minimum 3.5s total runtime for the intro including a small pause. The rest of the animation gets interrupted once the device is booted to avoid any delay so there can't be an outro.

When we started responding to Russiaâs operation against our data centers, and when our strikes reached Yandexâs data centers, it suddenly became a little easier to breathe on many social media platforms. A lot of people noticed it. There was less hate, less division, and fewer provocations.
Because there were fewer bots. And itâs pretty clear where those bots were coming from â if they disappeared when Yandex went offline. This proves, again and again, that Europe is not the source of the problems. Europe is not the one making everything more difficult.
Most importantly, we need people in America, every morning, when the day in Europe is already moving toward evening, to really see what is happening. To see the truth.

Introducing FlexCord 2.0 for the OP1.
// Redesigned strain relief
// Increased flexibility
// Improved build quality
Less cable resistance. More control.
If you havenât seen FlexCord before: it replaces the cable on your OP1 and makes it feel almost wireless.

I wished we could have done more for Puretrak! Pat is ones of the best, and realest guys ever. He helped me when I was at my lowest point. Thank you for all the great years.
Please, it you haven't done so yet, buy a pad from Puretrak. The surface durability is unmatched!
Iâve been putting this off for a long time. After 25+ years in this scene â Pure Voice, then PureTrak â itâs time to say goodbye. Thank you to everyone who was part of it.

âŒïž BREAKING: Google's Pixel 10 was remotely hacked three times in one day at Pwn2Own Ireland.
Three separate teams broke into the phone. Ikotas Labs chained multiple bugs for $300,000, the contest's top prize, and won Master of Pwn. Xint earned $150,000 and a CENSUS Labs and Mobile Hacking Lab team $112,500 for their own Pixel 10 exploits.
Google has 90 days to patch.

This is a big breakthrough.

Lâaudience a eu lieu jeudi.
