BREAKING NEWS: The Amazon Labor Union has fully and officially completed its affiliation with the Teamsters Union, following a ruling on Thursday from the National Labor Relations Board rejecting outstanding objections by Amazon.   ALU members at Amazon’s JFK8 fulfillment center voted this summer by over 98% to affiliate with the Teamsters.   The ruling further establishes ALU-IBT Local 1, a newly chartered local union of the Teamsters, as the representative for 5,500 Amazon warehouse workers at JFK8 on Staten Island. Local 1 will have jurisdiction to organize and represent Amazon workers throughout New York’s five boroughs — and will carry the full power and resources of the 1.3 million-member Teamsters Union to take on the trillion-dollar corporation.   The decision by the NLRB arrives just hours before Teamsters General President Sean M.
