He has been a great friend of mine for more than 50 years, a great Canadian through and through. It is a travesty that he is not in the Hockey Hall of Fame and has not been awarded the Order of Canada. King Charles III has recognized his merit, but Canadians haven’t.

Edmonton Oilers fans should be given the next 72 hours off work. No matter what happens.

Why do Hall of Fames wait until people die? Why do they adhere to arbitrary categorical rules that really mean nothing and can be changed with fewer than 12 words? Hall of Fames/museums simply tell a story and ceremonies give someone a chance to feel love from family and friends and adoring strangers. Otherwise, these buildings are really meaningless. Why wouldn't one want to do that? You can't tell the story of hockey without the 30ish years Don Cherry and Barry Melrose gave the game via National Television. They both gave THEIR THEIR ENTIRE
LIVES to hockey and the NHL. Imagine how warm a night like that would be make those two GIANTS feel and those of us that loved their entertainment and hearts. Time is limited for both. Cherry is 91 and Barry has Parkinson's. How easy is this? What are we doing?

I couldn’t even get the tweet off celebrating Brown tying it up before 8 seconds later LA takes the lead with Moore giving it the old one handed on the ice five hole move. The Oilers need a goalie. No one saw this coming besides everyone who has watched them play this year

This is ridiculous. The North was imperfect in Catholicism for sure, but rebellious slavers were not more Catholic.
1. Paul III condemned slavery in the New World in Sublimus Dei as early as 1537. The CSA was over 300 years behind.
2. The KKK targeted Catholics as well with priests being a common group lynched.
3. The "Confederate South" only refers to the 4 years where they disobeyed legitimate authority & were in rebellion. The primary reason for this rebellion was that some humans could keep owning other humans. This is doubly against Catholic teaching.
Etc.
Check on your friends. It only takes a second to call or text.
Good friends with a couple. Husband is the guy that cooks for everyone, asks if you need another beer, jovial, and just a great dude to sit around a campfire with. All around good guy that everyone likes. Recently took to eating better, working out, and lost a bit of weight.
Just found out yesterday morning he ended it all with a rope in a tree.
Fellas, you're not alone and don't nor shouldn't have to shoulder the world by yourself. Make sure your buds know that too.

Good deal for Vegas. Habs should "ask" Carey Price not to show up for his medical next year. Precedent has been set.
Sources say a resolution has been reached on Robin Lehner situation with @GoldenKnights.
Lehner will NOT be on Vegas’ salary cap this season. Believe Lehner will still be paid.
Big win for the Golden Knights, who likely will not have to operate in LTIR to start the season.
