“You can’t love your country only when you win. You can’t obey the law only when it’s convenient. You can’t be patriotic when you embrace and enable lies.”
This is right by my house, 0.15 miles. I’m in this exact spot…we’ll say regularly. This is why I’m paranoid this summer. Notice how brown everything is when it should be at least slightly green. Also why I’m grateful for stellar fire crews who got it out quickly!
#ColoradoSpringsFire is on scene of a #workinggrassfire in the area of Villa Loma Park.
Firefighters on scene have water on the perimeter of the fire.
Multiple units are on scene and more are responding. Please avoid the area.
For those wondering, I’m STILL fighting @UPS on this $320.92 import tariff on my $80 deodorant order that I refused delivery on BECAUSE of that charge. I’m not going to pay on that much more than what I ordered and don’t even have in my possession! So they sent me to collections.
WTH??? This is how people end up incapacitated or dead!
Last week on a @Delta flight the FAs asked for medical help. There were a few physicians on the plane and an ER doc and I evaluated a passenger with new facial droop, clumsy speech and numbness in his face. Symptoms abated after about 30mins. Our assessment was TIA and as we had another 3 hrs in the flight, and even though the flight was already 2.5h late, we recommended landing the plane to get the passenger to a hospital for evaluation. The Delta doc on the ground who never spoke with the docs on the plane said ‘No he should be fine’.
Can someone explain why @UPS has my package traveling Finland-Kentucky-Denmark-Germany (so far) when it’s supposed to be coming to Colorado?
We had tickets to the #LasVegasGP, but they reneged on me this morning and said “oh, just your husband…” AFTER we made all the arrangements. Hubs said he isn’t going w/out me (good man!). I’m most disappointed I won’t be seeing @MercedesAMGF1 in action in person 💔
FWP 🤷♀️
FTR, last week it was “come to the race!” This week it was “nah, just kidding. Only one of you.” So it was a short-notice anyway. But for a #F1 fan, that’s just cruel.
Interesting to see @FOX21News with a story on my favorite tree: the Jacaranda. I fell in love with it and its vibrant purple blooms in South Africa. The beauty always did me in! So thanks to my local morning team for that smile this Monday!
This is good!
The Denver International Airport has submitted a request to the Federal Aviation Administration seeking permission to use airport revenue to support wages for its air traffic controllers. krdo.com/news/2025/11/05/den…
People blaming #United for their computer systems being down must be a real joy when their home laptops crash 🙄
It’s amazing we even have flight crews with how customers treat them.
It’s been difficult to track #HR100 runners because it’s jumping them around. People snowing placed in the 20’s are apparently actually top 10, while those showing placed top 10 suddenly show just outside. It’s bizarre. Gotta love backcountry remote races!
Also, it would be great to see local law enforcement, world news sources, and such on that other platform.
Hey @BBCWorld, I know it’s minor, but if you could change the photo of the “military cargo plane” to an updated one, that’d be nice. Also, with an orange 4,6,8 or 9 would be the units going to fly.

I’ll still be over here, but have joined that other site as well. Let’s do this!

Anyone know where I can report the email address [email protected]? It’s blocked, but they keep making fake addresses to keep spamming my email inbox. I’m tired of blocking 3-8 emails from them every single day.
