Today, we conducted a community awareness session targeting young women in Kakuma 3.
The session introduced the community to our different programs we offer, with a special focus on our Elevate Girls Mentorship Program which focuses to mentor and support young women.
Last week has been a great opportunity for learning, reflection and growth for our team.
Thank you StartUp Consulting for facilitating a capacity-building training that strengthened our team’s knowledge and skills. The insights shared will help us improve our programming.
We are thrilled to have hosted the Jesuit Worldwide Learning (JWL) team as we explored potential areas of collaboration to expand access to education for refugee youths.
We believe that education is a powerful pathway to self-reliance and dignity especially for displaced youths.
We remain deeply committed to ensuring that every girl we support lives with dignity, and access to opportunity. Through our ongoing programs, we continue to provide essential resources, mentorship, and safe spaces that empower girls to stay in school and pursue their aspirations.

When we #GivetoGain, we don’t just offer support, we invest in a revolution. 🤲💜
By giving girls the tools, mentorship, and seats at the table they deserve today, we gain a brighter, bolder future for us all. Happy International Women’s Day to the trailblazers, the glass-shatterers, and every woman changing the world! #InternationalWomensDay2026

On this International Women’s Day, we celebrate Nasron, our Program Officer, and the many incredible women out there who continue to drive meaningful change in their communities.
We remain committed to supporting and empowering women and girls.
We recognize that digital literacy is no longer optional — it is fundamental to economic integration and access to education.
Through our Digital Literacy Project, we equip refugee youths with practical, job-ready digital skills that are essential in today’s labour market.
Our Program Officer, Nasron, visited Blue State School as we continue supporting girls with dignity kits and mentorship despite funding cuts.
These efforts help girls stay in school with confidence and dignity. We sincerely thank our partners for their unwavering support.

Sudanese children deserve functioning hospitals!! Thank you @KhartoumKitchen for keeping our precious babies alive when no one else will. Please share & donate to support their lifesaving work 🇸🇩🩷

In the entirety of Khartoum State, a region with a pre-war population of 9 million people, there was only one children’s hospital functioning; that is why we made it a priority to rehabilitate Omdurman Children’s Hospital.
After much effort, Omdurman Children’s Hospital is now open 24 hours a day, providing free healthcare to thousands of children who would otherwise have been deprived of this basic human right.
We have also made it a priority to rehabilitate hospitals in Khartoum, where 80% of health facilities were either damaged or destroyed. However, this is capital and labour intensive work. If you would like to help us continue this vital effort, please click on the link in the reply. Thank you.
We are thrilled to have participated in the recent capacity strengthening training organized by @SolidarityInit1.
This learning opportunity was timely and deeply enriching, equipping our team with stronger tools and strategies to enhance our service delivery to fellow refugees.
We were proud to partner with you @StellarEastAfri for the first Stellar edition in Kakuma Refugee Camp.
Thank you, Stellar team, for an impactful session.
Refugees are always ready to learn, build, and rise.
