If there's one stock to watch this August, I believe it's Auxly Cannabis Group $XLY.TO $CBWTF.
Auxly is one of the best Canadian LPs on almost any metric. Retail POS data shows their retail sales grew 20% yoy in Q2 in a flat overall market (+0.6% yoy) = Auxly is massively gaining market share. This isn't a one-off, btw. They've been gaining market share for 10+ quarters.
At $0.185/share, the stock trades at 6x my 2026 EBITDA forecast while peers trade at 8x on average (the whole industry is still heavily discounted, but this is another topic).
The company is aggressively buying back shares and has just announced a 14:1 share consolidation to improve its capital markets profile and appeal to institutional investors.
A company growing double-digits, with operating leverage (profitability grows faster than revenue), shrinking its share count and trading at 6x EBITDA looks like a great setup to me. The market is totally asleep on this one.
