Atlanta is a cycling city. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
Atlanta City Council is weighing a proposal to follow in the footsteps of places like Denver, Boston and Rhode Island by offering city residents rebates for e-bikes. ajc.com/news/atlanta-eyes-su…

I would have voted "no" on this. But unlike transit expansion, there's no requirement for a vote on highway projects.
MARTA expansion has to go through often bitter, racially-charged referendum votes for approval. Which it usually loses.
Highway construction just happens. – at Atlanta, GA

It must be the darn bike lanes causing traffic
Oh wait there is no bike lane here
Went by Buckhead yesterday. The demoed affordable housing site on Pharr Court is sitting idle.
We lose a lot of lower priced homes to more expensive sites.
2 market rate sites between Peachtree & Piedmont actively under construction though, more than Midtown.

To hell with the treasonists, the Nazi bastards, & all compromised assets in elected office.
Vote for anyone and everyone who ends the regime.
And yes, white men, you are a big part of the problem.
To all white men who need to hear it:
Your country is more important than your preferred political party, ideologies, & moral qualms.

When I marched with @beltlinerailnow in the Inman Park parade, it was only 3 old white men that actually boo’ed us.
“Old white man who lives 1 block off West Paces Ferry & owns software company that could gain financially from going another route, unsurprisingly against Beltline rail”

Lots of people drive cars in the US but that doesn't mean they want to.
Car fanatics want us to believe that car-dominance is because customers love cars.
But choices reveal desires only when there are real options.

I'm really glad these are moving forward. The long timeline on them confuses me, though. Why does it take till 2029 to upgrade some stops and add a turn around loop?
This could be phased with Phase 1 having limited stops (done soon), and Phase 2+ having the extra amenities.
Build it. Would prefer different style than the cladding on the side, but the housing in general is good for the city and corridor.
So few proposals in the city advancing at the moment.
