I was VERY excited to read that Ella McLintock from @HothamSchool was chosen by @PutneyFleur as her Christmas card choice this year 🎄Congratulations to Ella !!

WHAT THE DICKENS?
Charles Dickens is haunted by the women he mistreated with Victorian songs & street music, carols & folk music performed by a multi-talented cast who sing, dance & play instruments, sometimes all at the same time!

Having a fun time digging for, and finding lots of worms after the rain! #Nursery #outsidelearning @HothamSchool @HothamEYFS
Teaching turn taking with the aid of a djembe - only the 2nd week and these 3 year olds are doing brilliantly 🪘🪘@HothamSchool @HothamEYFS
So impressed with this little boy who took the time and concentration to complete this lacing card after I showed him how to stitch -his fine motor skills and concentration were fantastic! @HothamSchool @HothamEYFS #newskills

I loved it! If you love singing, why not join us in September for The Creation?
We’re all so thrilled & proud after a superb performance in last night’s delightful summer #concert - peaking perfectly for the occasion under the expert guidance of our MD, Chris Langworthy
Next? Haydn’s ‘The Creation’

I remember all the playground songs - in fact my y3 always clamour for Eh memarie if we have a spare 5 minutes at the end of the lesson!
Let’s get children singing again. We @SingPlaygrounds @singingmed spent the day with Graham Welch at the @FutureFwdHQ conference remembering the @SingUpTweets days, being reminded of his research showing why singing is SO good for children, primary schools, and just everyone…
Paired work today: the children were writing little rhythms down for their friend to play. Before that they loved playing notation bingo! Such progress over the years. Notation bingo used to be a y5 activity and now they can do it in y3 @HothamSchool @MusicWandsworth
Super impressed with this y3 child’s idea of playing with the different timbres of her tambour to interpret her friend’s rhythm 🎶 Wow! #extramile @HothamSchool
Congratulations to the PTA and their team for raising LOADS of money for our school - Hurray 💰 @PtaHotham @HothamSchool

My favourite man in Hammersmith - this is Michael - he adores Tudor/Baroque music. Will play all of the Parker psalm tunes for you. Never any music. Heartwarming in this age of cultural decimation.

Just been to a wonderful recital given by @BerkeleyEnsembl @CHSunConcerts with beautiful music by Dorothy Howells - what an incredible composer! The Berkeley are crowd funding to record her works - the only musicians to do so.
“I can read the notes but playing them makes my mind wobble!” #violin @HothamSchool @MusicWandsworth
Y2 working collaboratively creating graphics for music 🎶 @HothamSchool
One of my gorgeous violinists (aged 6) composed a piece which she bought in and played - so dear! @HothamSchool #musiceducation
Y6 had a super time at FROZEN the musical in the West end taking a quick stop to admire the incredible London landmarks @HothamSchool
