Great morning speaking to children at Colmore Junior School with the brilliant @sampad_arts. I loved listening to what makes them proud to be a Brummie. Looking forward to hearing from children across Birmingham as part of my #TheBigFuture survey.

Here is a beautiful video that was made over the Summer last year with some of our children, singing and playing on our school fields and in the school hall - we hope you enjoy.

We’ve had a fantastic few weeks of music-making in the run-up to Christmas! Choir have worked with @ExCathedraEd on a @SingPlaygrounds video project, sung carols for patients and staff at @ROHNHSFT , and we’ve had fabulous instrumental concerts @SFE_Tweets
Let’s get our primary school playgrounds ringing with joyful singing-play 🎶

Whenever we @SingPlaygrounds go into schools the dinner supervisors say ‘We used to play singing games, children used to play singing games… ‘.
Teacher recently said, ‘they’ve lost the ability to play…’
