In search of an @johndeere L-Band GPS position receiver to complete my collection. Looks like an original StarFire but orange. If you find one please send me a DM. Retweets appreciated. This one is at the ISG office and they would not let me buy it.
Sharing is caring. If you have a @johndeere Gen 4 4600/4640 and get "An Error occurred unexpectedly" on intial startup, you'll get two options — pick STEP 2 (Deselect Data and Reboot), not Step 1. Step 2 fixes it most of the time.
If it's stuck after hitting Step 1, it's fine to hit the battery disconnect, then choose Step 2.
If you continue to have problems a factory reset under menu, system, file manager, advanced settings (arrow/dot) will usually get rid of the corrupt data. Before factory reset back up run pages/setup data to operations center or a USB in file manager.
Incremental 25.4 software 10.35.3817-72 fixes it but at this time only available via USB from your dealer. Reference solution 113561. #harvest26 @ValleyPlains @PVEQUIP @KibbleEquipment

Had AI pull the entire X9 1100 parts catalog: 42,184 lines, 9,562 part numbers, every diagram and price. It then built me a phone app to browse it.
Then I said build me a cool “matrix” themed visualization of all the part numbers! Crazy.
New @KibbleEquipment episode with @6Farmer is out. Lots of botched wedding proposal stories.
I sold @JohnDeere stock in December 2004 to help pay for the engagement ring. My SWAG was it would be worth 3 new roofs today. I pulled the fidelity report: $2,367 sold in December 2004. Claude estimated value now with dividends reinvested: $65,800. The roof I replaced this summer: $23,830.
No regrets.
Advice for those in this situation today - use a credit card and hold the stock.

#harvest26 is on. Phones are busy. If you are having weird issues when things used to work and are not anymore, try a 5-10 minute battery disconnect.
I don't like it either but when it works, take the win and keep rolling.

Farmers helping farmers. Growers across our #HillsboroFactory district harvested more than 420 acres of sugarbeets Wednesday for fellow grower Bill Cotton, who is fighting stage 4 brain cancer. Around 80 trucks, 14 harvesters, and 11 toppers showed up. #Harvest26

Starlink was way better than our previous fixed wireless option but this is next level…. especially latency.

Here's my cousin Chris @Horob's kick-ass AI-enabled project he just posted in the Fullstack Ag forum.
He placed temperature and humidity sensors in a number of random locations across his property that didn't have good internet access.
But these sensors are Bluetooth-enabled, so he was able to build a simple mobile app to log the readings when when he or his family are in the buildings.
It's fun what a curious mind can build these days!
Renting goats to clear out our wind breaks for the first time.
- 1.2 acres (I said 2 acres in video)
- Need to relocate fence and goats 3 times
- estimate 3 weeks
-$1200 for 34 goats - SE Minnesota
- I have listened to Adam Sandler’s “The Goat” from 1996 too many times (google it NSFW)
Two questions:
1. What’s the going rate in your area?
2. Any tips for my dog’s goat anxiety?
