My beautiful model Y Launch series just got rear ended in traffic and the driver fled the scene 😭😭 trunk dented and won’t close.
Luckily because I drive a Tesla, I have HD footage of being hit from the rear camera, HD footage of the driver fleeing from the front camera, and a big fat HD frame of their license plate that I’m currently sharing with a friendly local police officer.
But I’m sad 😭
Tesla is at a tipping point. FSD is going viral.
BUT: Some Wall Street Analysts don’t think people are buying Teslas for FSD. Let’s give them the receipts!
Know someone who bought a Tesla because of FSD? Did you buy FSD with a car attached?
Add your story below. Prove them wrong.

Here is the receipts: many more stories of people that bought FSD - with a car attached.
1) Severe case of EDS, still bought FSD.

Have a friend that hates Elon. No reason they can state but hates him. They bought a model 3 and when I asked why they said they didn’t buy the model 3 they bought the FSD and the Tesla came with it.
Cope
Who is going to tell him? Gary Black blocked me, and I always liked him. Disagreed with him, but liked him.
People are buying Teslas JUST for FSD. My Dad for one. Swore he didn’t want an EV - but he does want FSD. Jason Oppenheim’s video on Tesla’s FSD is up to 2.8 Million views just on X. Add in other platforms too. That is PR advertising FSD.
Gary Black doesn’t understand that the other companies have advanced driver’s assistance, NOT FSD. The tech is so completely different and not on par. And they also don’t have cars running their systems Driverless and as RoboTaxis.
Do you know someone interested in buying a Tesla because of FSD?

Over the past few years, Tesla has made autonomy their singular focus.
Fans and customers often thought they were nuts for it. "That is years away. We need a large SUV. We need a compact. We need a van!"
In hindsight, autonomy was the only thing that mattered.

Thank you Tesla FSD for saving my life. I looked at the car coming to the stop sign figured they would stop, my car went, then came to a stop mid intersection as they flew by. Had I been manually driving this would have resulted in a crash.

I know we’ve seen FSD pull this move a million times now, but every time it happens to me I can’t help smiling. Just feels so insane.

FSD is incredible. Serendipitously, this chaotic situation happened as I was explaining to my mother-in-law how the car knows what to do in odd situations
For this one, she and my wife were actually yelling at the truck thinking we were going to get hit, and FSD handled it flawlessly
Not only did it reverse (with very minimal room behind us) to avoid getting hit, but it understood the scene and shot the first gap to proceed when the human was out of the way
It still pains me that so many people in my sphere don't really understand how capable the system is $TSLA

$TSLA just got named the primary original equipment manufacturer for the largest electric Class 8 order in U.S. history.
2,500 battery-electric trucks. Ordered through ZET SCALE, a shipper alliance founded by Microsoft, PepsiCo and others.
This single order could nearly double the entire U.S. electric Class 8 fleet, and it lands just as the Sparks Semi factory opens its doors.
Big shippers had their pick, and they went for best in class.
I hope I own enough shares. 🤷♂️

So I had the WOW Forever moment that I wanted.
Almost 1am, well past bedtime. Just in a vibe and somebody hits general to do a quest.
It's Level 12, I'm Level 8... Of course I'm in.
Find the person... They're Level 8 too.
I open a trade, give them one of my three pieces of food, they give me a sharpening stone...
I'm a priest and.... that's not the point.
You know I'm about to sharpen the shit out of this grey mace for the culture (And 2 Attack Power).
We eat, slap on our stones, pull this Level 12 Elite and ping pong him over five minutes with the finesse that only 22 years of muscle memory can get you.

Here’s a perfect example of why Tesla Self Driving is pure magic.
In this video, we’re approaching a one-lane covered bridge. Notice that after oncoming cars clear, there is an ever-so-slight pause by FSD before proceeding. Why? Because FSD sees a car yielding on the other side of the covered bridge, and is confirming that it’s yielding for us. You can barely see the car yourself as a human, but FSD sees it, which can be verified by the tiny car spec on the screen animation. Zoom in and you’ll see it on the screen.
FSD signals full understanding of this situation, and acts/reacts with such speed and precision that blows my mind every time. This is the key breakthrough of V14. The car feels completely dialed in and alive at every fraction of a second. No pausing, no uncertainty. It’s just alive.
There is no awkward hesitation, nothing that feels any different from what an experienced human driver would do here. This never used to be possible before V14. It couldn’t even understand this scenario at all. Now not only is it possible, but it’s so natural that you don’t even bat an eye.
And we’re about to see a step change with V15. Completely insane.

Our first Accordion Supercharger
Our goal is to pre-assemble all Superchargers in a factory. If we can't install Superchargers behind a curb, we now have a pre-assembled solution for Superchargers between parking spaces.
16 stalls per truck shipment, 20% cheaper to install, instant commissioning, highest quality.

Still trying to wrap my head around Ashok’s comment on V15 yesterday. Obviously there are certain things we all talk about that FSD still can’t do (parking lots, school zones etc) and needs to improve on, but the specific things Ashok mentioned as being “significantly improved” on V15 I just don’t even get.
On 14.3.9, it has already gotten to the point where I’m becoming one of those insufferable people who feels like it’s actually fucked up that people are driving manually and putting everyone in danger. The safety is already undeniably past human capability.
But a significant improvement from here? If you can see where the puck is going, I think it’s obvious that the paragraph above this one is going to go from a few insufferable early adopters to most humans.
Completely insane
