The Lipid Brain Atlas is out now! If you think lipids are boring and membranes are all
the same, prepare to be surprised. Led by Luca Fusar Bassini with Gioele La Manno's lab, we mapped membrane lipids in the mouse brain at high resolution.

Here’s the big one: In collaboration with @Honigmann_Lab, @LabShevchenko, Björn Drobot and Martin Hof we present a general workflow for imaging the localization and transport of individual lipids in cells and mapping their metabolism.

Our Excellence Cluster Physics of Life (@PoLDresden) got renewed until 2032! I am so proud of our team and all the great work we did to achieve this. At a personal level, I am really happy that the enormous effort that went into this process was successful, and truly honored to lead such an outstanding team. It took years of hard work to build the team and now we have the opportunity to take our Physics of Life to the next level. Let do this!
