Not sure if anyone has a use for this outside myself but I’ll make this available on my website in the next few days if anyone wants to play around with it.
Working on a version where the terminal is where the activity feed is as well.
I’m constantly asked why I don’t start my own creator agency.
The answer is simple. To do it the way I believe it should be done would take far more time and energy than I have right now.
Most agencies sign hundreds of creators, wait for inbound brand inquiries, blast out the same pitch to everyone, and negotiate whatever comes in.
I’d rather do the opposite.
Work with a small group of creators. Learn exactly what brands they actually want to work with. Build custom sponsorship campaigns around each creator. Proactively approach those brands with a pitch that’s tailored instead of copied and pasted.
That takes time, but I think it’s how creator management should be done.
One idea I’m seriously considering is building a platform where creators can connect all of their social accounts and instantly get fair market rates for every type of deliverable.
That way creators can:
• Price outbound sponsorship pitches confidently
• See if a brand offer is fair, underpriced, or overpriced
• Negotiate using actual data instead of guessing
Not sure what the next move is yet, but I’ll keep everyone updated.
I’ve had almost nothing but bad experiences with agencies over the last 7 years.
They all care about one thing, themselves. Agencies pool together a ton of creators they know nothing about, check the inboxes they setup for them and then ask for numbers far exceeding a reasonable offer. They do this cause some company who’s unfamiliar with the industry will pay and out of the hundred of creators they have they will get a few suckers each month.
You are not the priority to an agency. Most email over a copy and past offer without even knowing what you’re looking for and don’t email back if you even try to negotiate.
The large majority of you are being taken advantage of. I follow a ton of creators who I’ve made offers to via their agency and most don’t have sponsors of any kind let alone controller sponsors for months or years after. Years of income missed by the creator.
I’m super tired of posting about this cause it never changes.
I have been managed by bad agencies, I have attempted to manage myself, and now I’m managed by one of the best in the game. My experience:
👉🏽One agency I worked with never brought me one paid deal, instead they used me to get OTHER creators deals and sent me on business trips for other creators as a 2 for 1 deal…(meaning the other creator had a deal and they just sent me along for the ride…I got nothing out of it)
👉🏽one agency completely ignored my current now longest partner when they reached out.
👉🏽one agency promised me certain things when signing on, and then proceeded to put those same things promised behind walls, and every time I scaled that wall they built another. I never got what was originally promised.
👉🏽I gave up on agencies and attempted to manage myself. I undersold myself, got taken advantage of by brands, and made many mistakes.
I’m now currently managed by @dulcedomgmt
👉🏽 I’ve had brand opportunities I never thought would be possible.
👉🏽my manager is the absolute GOAT! (Love you Angelica if you see this🙌🏽 you’re an absolute gem of a human)
👉🏽they’ve combed though my socials and helped tailor strategies just for me and my brand.
👉🏽They’ve sat one on one with me and gotten to KNOW me.
👉🏽They’ve run every partnership that pops up by me to see if we align.

It’s about finding the agency you align with. Not everyone has YOUR best interests, and it can be hard to find out who does. I kissed a lot of frogs 🐸 in the industry to find my place. Protect yourself and do your research!
