My mom has always been my biggest supporter in anything I decide to do. She supported me when I quit highschool at 18 to pursue a professional carreer and equally supported me when I dropped everything to start fresh again as a content creator
For the majority of my younger childhood years me and my brothers were
raised by my mom herself, and I remember telling her that when I get older I will one day return that favor and take care of her
Today I’ve been able to keep my promise and help my mom by buying her the house she wants.
This is the happiest moment in my life and I wanted to share it with a massive thank you to anyone that has supported me and my journey as a content creator.
I am eternally grateful for my position and will continue to try and do good
Youve all changed my life into a dream one🩵🙌
Everything @LudwigAhgren is saying here is 100% fair and accurate. Let's do the math:
1. To support a Valorant challengers team like the 2026 M80 roster which won NA would be approximately $500k annually give or take. That's 5 players, 1 HC and 1 AC/Analyst on monthly salaries + travel etc.
For us to take this roster into the new ecosystem and compete we would have to make EVERY Cup + at least ONE Masters event to just break EVEN on the investment into the game. If we miss even 1 cup we are down six figures. If we miss a Masters its an even bigger hole.
Most teams cannot afford to take this risk for so little return. It's financial suicide.
We could just look to drastically reduce salaries but then you are just in a race to the bottom. Playing T1 Valorant is a full time job and you have to be able to pay people full time wages. I would rather go do something else than pay players a fraction of what their time is worth. It's sad because there are many t1 Valorant players in North America who will miss out on opportunities to have a career.
Sucks to even write that to be honest.
2. Competitive Integrity. This will be an 8 team league in Americas and there should be no doubt about that.
Any non-partnered team that has an inch of success or develops an amazing talent will lose those players at the first break in the season to partnered teams and have to start building chemistry over. Agents will insist on their players being moved to partner teams and if you try to retain them you will be holding them back. This is fair as the best salaries and financial opportunities will only come from partner teams.
This, even more so that the financial picture, is the real reason M80 will not compete in Valorant in 2027. It's just a completely unlevel playing field and that's not something we are interested in.
I got into esports because of Valorant. We launched M80 with a Valorant roster announcement. It breaks my heart to leave.
We love the game and the community and would love to return in an instant when things make more sense. I look forward to that day.
To clarify
Riot changed the way Valorant works so that any team can make/win an international tournament
But they chose 4 teams in NA to become partners
They give those teams millions of $$ AND a skin in the game (they get a percentage of sales)
If an unpartnered org builds a moneyball team that absolutely crushes at an international event- those players will be poached by a partnered org
It happened to us with Brawk and Mada going to NRG it is happening to C9 who just lost partnership and already letting their players shop around
I just don't know if it is worth competing in the esport long term as compared to investing into an esport with a truly open system

Unrivaled on stage and on the Rift.
K/DA Hitmaker Evelynn slays the competition on Patch 26.22.

ALT K/DA Hitmaker Evelynn leans back confidently as she peers over her red-tinted sunglasses. Her long red tie accentuates the deep V cut of her shirt, while her sharp silver collar and shoulder pads shine under the light. One of her spectral hounds emerges from the right side, ready to pounce on her prey.

"I think that Shopify Rebellion should abandon VALORANT completely, and I think Riot Games has fucked us long enough, and I don't know if I wanna pursue it anymore, because I see no reward for doing so."

The Capitals may have the best postgame routine in the game 😂
After wins, the team's player of the game is awarded a vintage CCM helmet from Ovechkin's rookie season with his patented tinted visor 🤩
It is coined "Legend of the Game" and its first recipient was Vincent Desharnais 🙌

Listen to the #Worlds2026 Orchestral Theme, featuring more heavy metal than the Summoner's Cup 🤘
Animation fs carried this, really well done
Song was okay until the bridge but that ruined it for me
Also no Madison :(
EU got better draws than NA #Worlds2026
Ball knower take is drawing the mickey mouse matchups in bo1s is bad bc then you can't draw them in bo3 + you have higher chance of upsetting a good team in a bo1 than bo3, and if you draw a good team in bo1 you can't get them later in bo3

"Cut the western shit" so peak. This region used to have some feeling behind it. Before NAmen and sheep esports executed the systematic liberalization of north american league of legends. Gutted the soul of it. The voice of the sport manipulated by hands that last touched the rift 5 months ago in gold 4 maokai's mcchickens. Bring real gamers back
You've heard of prodigy players, but Crankshank is what I would call a prodigy coach
I can count on my fingers the number of people in the world I'm aware of that can internally visualize drafting to the level Crank does
Crank will do great things; it could be for your team 😉
