My Trees seeds are collected from native trees within the Hurugwe District of Zimbabwe before being propagated and eventually planted out in under-utilised land. This ensures the right trees are planted in the right areas with positive impact on the local landscape.

Until @cohsunshinecity and @JMafume take wetland protection seriously, Harare's water security is doomed. Illegal developments and cultivation are evident across the city. We need ACTION!
The current sorry status of the #ClevelandDam wetland where Zimphos fertiliser co. continues to abstract water without an environmental impact assessment. Sadly, Mayor @JMafume's council is opposing protection of this designated #RamsarConvention wetland. #SaveWetlands

Such is the extent of the water crisis in Harare. Wetlands destruction has worsened the water situation in Zimbabwe's capital which relies on its headwater wetlands for water supply. The sustainable development of @cohsunshinecity is certainly under threat #NoAWetlandsNoWater

The Pomona Dump is on fire again. An environmental catastrophe posing a huge health risk to Harare's residents. @cohsunshinecity Why can we not solve this proble?, why are we unable to provide residents with a safe environment to live in?

@BitiTendai @advocatemahere @Katazamhondoro residents on your constituencies are being affected by this. Please tell us how we can solve this problem permanently. Why are private sector recycling and Waste to Energy not being acted on?

Power outages in the urban areas of Harare are forcing residents to resort to fetching firewood from the outskirts of the cities. This is also a result of the prevailing harsh economic environment in the country. @CorahOnline Credit: Tafadzwa Goliath

@AllianceMediaSA @HighlandsRRA @Katazamhondoro @BitiTendai @cohsunshinecity please can we have a meeting to discuss the proliferation of Billboards on Borrowdale rd. There must be a sensible solution to this.
Replying to @AllianceMediaSA
@alliancemediasa you have now erected so many billboards on Borrowdale road in Harare it is becoming difficult to see anything but adverts. Today you have put up two more! Residents want avenues, not a graveyard of adverts. #TreesNotBillboards

We can't just complain that our roads are full of holes, and our rubbish is never collected. We have agency and we can DO something about these problems. But it's not for free, and if we aren't prepared to pay, then for sure noone else will.
