Year 1 and @HighfieldYear2 loved our computing session today. We are now able to log into computers independently, load up the internet and use a search browser to find what we’re looking for! We celebrated our achievements by playing a maths game on BBC bitesize. 🥳

Check out these desk tidy 3D models created by Year 6! We used techniques suchs as making 'holes' using placeholder shapes, and scaling our models using sliders. Very impressive work! @HighfieldHead #digitaldesigners

From home learning to out of this world learning! This week @HighfieldYear6 explored the ISS using google street view. They were searching for a Raspberry Pi and next week will write some code for this ‘Astro Pi’ that will actually be displayed on board the ISS. @HighfieldHead

Some excellent free resources for parents here. These are discussions that are worth having frequently to keep your children safe online.
Time’s up on the TCS Oxford Computing Challenge and nothing they do now will count towards their score but I love the fact that these @HighfieldYear6 girls won’t give up until they’ve cracked it. Computational thinking teaches resilience. @HighfieldHead #MyFirstClassEducation
