Florida State Representative & Democratic Nominee for U.S. Senate @AngieNixon has resolved the criminal case stemming from her May arrest following a sit-in at Gov. Ron DeSantis’ Capitol office over Florida’s congressional redistricting. The resolution requires no guilty plea or admission of wrongdoing. Nixon will pay $250 and complete 15 hours of community service, and the case will be dismissed. “From the beginning, I have been clear: I did nothing wrong, and I will not plead guilty to something I did not do,” State Rep. Nixon said following the resolution. “I stood my ground then, and I stand by my actions today. I’m still standing, I’m still fighting, and I’m still going to show up.” #BlackWomenLead
