This camera should be exhibited one day in the Genocide Memorial built in memory of the innumerable victims of Israel's genocide in Gaza.
Shame on all journalists not raising their voice against the massacre of their brave Palestinian colleagues while documenting the genocide.

The workers who negotiated this deal were 18, 19 and 25 and had never been on strike before.
They are an inspiration to every hotel worker in the country. You can unionise, you can take industrial action and you can win.
🔥 Village Strike 🔥
Following 3 weeks of continuous strike action members at @Village_Hotels in Govan have won a 10% pay-rise backdated to April 2024 (with all tax/NI paid) & an end to zero hour contracts.
Their fight for full equal pay and the real living wage continues!

Shocking. I truly did not know any of this until today:
1/ Israeli forces still withhold the body of Palestinian activist Odeh Hadalin, killed last week by a settler in the occupied West Bank.
2/ Seven of his family members who witnessed the killing remain in detention. A nurse who tried to save him was deported—along with other international witnesses.
3/ Dozens of women from Umm al-Khair are on hunger strike, demanding justice.
4/ An Israeli judge has lifted house arrest for Yinon Levi, the main suspect, claiming the case is weak and may be “self-defense.”
5/ Levi owns an illegal West Bank outpost and a demolition company contracting with the Israeli army.
6/ Earlier this year, the Trump admin lifted Biden-era sanctions on Levi—despite his long history of violence and harassment against Palestinians.

I have not been a member of any political party since 1981. Today, myself at 81, I paid up and joined the party without a name. Hope others, oldies, not-so-oldies and their children and grandchildren will do the same.

Just finished reading Red Threads by Henry Bell. A fascinating history of the red flag, and the history of the left wing movement as they evolved alongside each other. It has really opened my eyes to a symbol I took for granted and imbued it with a deeper meaning

Did you know that every landlord in Scotland was invited to respond to the Scottish government’s consultation on rent controls? Was every tenant told? Nope!
We need to drown out the landlord lobby; make sure you sign @Living_Rent’s petition!

🚨 BREAKING: The Co-op has announced that it will implement the motion passed at its AGM last month by ending the sourcing of products from Israel. This is a major BDS victory!
All Israeli whole products will now be removed from the shelves.

The government seems keen to remind us that lots of proscribed terrorist organisations are good actually. Which ironically is an offence under the Terrorism Act.
Roz Foyer may not be made to feel ashamed. But if she owns five properties then she should be made to resign. Landlordism is parasitical and immoral and you can't lead the trade union movement if you're a parasite.
